ARCTIC FOX Semi-Permanent Hair Dye - Vegan Periwinkle - 4 fl oz

This is so easy to use and such a gorgeous color! As someone who has never dyed my own hair (beyond the shampoo dye that you basically just lather all over your head in the shower), this was pretty straightforward and turned out so cute! I will say that it faded pretty fast for me, but I was in the world’s most chlorinated pool and the lake several times only a couple weeks after dying it. I bought the Periwinkle shade, and it did turn out more blue than the color on the front of the bottle, but when you look at the guide to see what the results will look like based on your base hair color, it was actually very accurate. I have medium length, slightly buttery platinum ends and light brown/dark blonde/level 7 roots with super fine straight hair and a lot of it, and one bottle was JUST enough to cover my whole head. If you have long hair I would imagine you’d need more than one bottle. It smells kind of like grape soda or something similar, but in a pleasant way. So far it has faded mostly blue-to-silver, with a bit of aqua-ish woven throughout, but not quite green, so that’s good! Definitely recommend Arctic Fox and I can’t wait to try more colors!

I got the shade periwinkle. I’m an avid arctic fox user and I LOVE their dyes, I really do. I’ve never had a bad experience. The pastel shades however, they just don’t stick, even when my hair is platinum blonde to start. The periwinkle is a beautiful shade, but I had to add some Purple AF to get it to really stick and by that point it wasn’t truly periwinkle, it was more just purple. the periwinkle by itself came out patchy, my bangs for some reason stayed icy blonde, and the roots of my hair turned grey, the tips were light light periwinkle despite doing 2 rounds of color. It washed out after 2 washes. The other colors, however, love love love, highly recommend arctic fox, truly. Just be mindful of pastels.

My daughter has darkish blonde hair so take that into account, but this didn’t work AT ALL. We left it on for 40 minutes, including time spent blow drying, only for her hair to literally look exactly the same. Not even the slightest bit blue. Very disappointing and something to keep in mind for others trying this. I’m guessing it only works on very light hair!

Gorgeous color but would definitely work best on platinum blonde hair, I bleached my ends and thought they were light enough based on the dye color but some strands are vibrant others not so much (some hair lifted more than other) I believe if I left the bleach longer it would have been much more pigmented

I’ve seen mixed reviews about Arctic Fox, but I’ve always been such a fan of their vast array of different colors, thick silky product that smells heavenly and applies smooth, and vivid semi-permanent colors that last a multitude of washes if you use cold water. I bought this periwinkle hoping that it might tone the more brassy and yellow spots in an existing blonde streak I have among my natural brown hair. It did tone it to a lovely silvery color, which bled through to the ends in that lovely periwinkle shade. Over time the rest of my hair did fade to match the silver tone. Over all a win, and I will always use Arctic Fox products for my dyeing needs

Applied according to instructions. Dye didn't take so well even in my gray hair. Washed out within a few days. I'm not sure if I did something wrong but the results were less than inspiring. I did like that it wasn't dreadfully messy and it has a pleasant smell

Didn't think this was going to work. I didn't have gloves so I used my bare hands, the dye washed off my hands and didn't stay for days on my skin like most hair dye does. That is why I didn't think it would stay on my hair. I have some natural white streaks in my hair now, and I put this dye on them, waited about 30-60mins, then rinsed with cold water. It actually dyed them. One wash later and it's still there, too. I love how I don't need to use the whole bottle at once (it comes in a bottle with a lid so it can be stored easily). I got the periwinkle color. Love this so much, I'll probably be buying more. If you like temporary hair color and don't like staining your hands, GET THIS BRAND!

I absolutely love this color. It smells good, it doesn't stain your skin horribly, & it softens your hair. I will buy it again. It works very well on short blonde hair!

Mi sono innamorata di questa tinta, ha una profumazione molto buona che ricorda il profumo delle fragole, il colore è veramente molto pigmentato rispetto a molte altre tinte a base d'acqua utilizzate in passato. Normalmente un tono così chiaro come il Periwinkle non è adatto a un capello scuro poichè non è coprente ma tingente. Va utilizzata su capelli chiari o dopo aver decolorato i capelli scuri. Abitualmente quando lavo i capelli preparo un composto con una maschera nutriente, dell'olio per capelli e un po di tinta così da tenere il colore sempre vivo anche dopo la tintura (che invece applico pura) mi trovo molto bene e credo che il prezzo valga il prodotto. Ho provato altri colori della Artic Fox e riconosco che sono rimasta sempre soddisfatta.

Buen tinte para niñas, vegano, no maltrata llevamos 4 botes, el morado es el que más dura el azul se deslava pronto pero estan bonitos los tonos. Huele delicioso. No mancha mucho. Se retira fácil. Buen producto.

Der Grund, warum ich diese Farbe gewählt habe, ist weil ich von diesen schon viel auf Instagram gesehen habe und sie einfach auch selbst ausprobieren wollte. Nachdem ich versucht habe über deren Website die Farben zu bestellen und bemerkt habe, dass die Lieferkosten (nach Österreich) unmenschlich sind, suchte ich sie auf gut Glück hier. Der Preis ist relativ okay, wenn man sie mit den originalen Preis und die dazukommenden Lieferkosten vergleicht. . Mir selbst ich kein Verlust an Farbkraft aufgefallen, da diese Farbe nicht so knallig wie andere ist. Sie hatte auch einen sehr angenehmen Geruch, der auch nach mehrmaligem Waschen geblieben ist und ich auch deshalb Komplimente bekommen habe. Beim Auftragen sollte man schön arbeiten und versuchen so wenig wie möglich auch die Haut zu bekommen. Sollte man keine Fettcreme im Gesicht, Schultern, Hals und Brust auftragen, bekommt man die meiste Farbe mit Asche aus einem Holzofen, die man leicht angefeuchtet auf Cosmetic Pads gibt und so die Farbe wegwischt, weg. Handschuhe wären auch vorteilhaft, außer man wünscht eine Woche lang eingefärbte Hände zu haben. Wer nicht so vorsichtig beim Auftragen umgeht und gelegentlich auf den Boden tropft, sollte diesen mit Handtüchern auslegen, an denen man nicht so unbedingt hängt, denn trotz mehrmaligem Waschen, blieben noch Farbrückstände (weiße Handtücher könnte man ganz einfach wieder bleichen). Sollte man eine Dusche mit weißen Fliesen und Fugen haben, würde ich raten sie in der Badewanne oder im Waschbecken auszuwaschen, da auf den Fliesen sowie in den Fugen auch die Farbe hängen bleiben kann und sie bei rauen Fliesen und bei Fugen nur schwer rausgeht, wenn man sich nicht nachher gleich reinigen kann/will. Von glatten Flächen lässt sich die Farbe mit einfachem Badreiniger oder ganz normalem Wasser entfernen. Wer bei dieser Farbe keine Verfälschung haben möchte, sollte sie, wenn möglich, zuerst auf Hellblond oder Platinum-blond blondieren Fazit: Die Farbqualität entspricht ihrem Preis und ist weiterzuempfehlen. Sie ist auch gut mit vielen anderen Farben zu kombinieren

Love the smell and feel of this dye. My hair has been badly damaged from bleach and it actually felt nice with this dye on. It also took better than other branded dyes, but did fade quickly (as expected with lighter shades and due to my damaged hair). Have purchased a darker colour to try now and would recommend

very happy with this dye, it came our light blue/purple. took two rounds but i dilute slightly with conditioner so that’s not the fault of the product. it toned my hair a bit the first round so i just wanted more colour. smells lovely and good consistency.
