Thermometer is great! worked really well until a year and 1 month later. getting an error reading. took the back off and replaced the battery and still coming up with error. Emailed the company to see if They could tell me how to fix it. They had me send in the receipt with date. I did and they replaced it!! They are an honest company with integrity. I really appreciate it.

it works fine but in practice 20 seconds or more for a reading is a long time with a wiggle butt puppy so I wish I'd spent the extra $ for the 8 second model

I bought this thermometer a while back and when I went to use it... it wouldn't turn on. I contacted the company via email and was promptly sent another one. Maybe the batteries died, I'm not sure. Customer service was excellent and also funny... 5 STARS... you're my fave person! LOL. Anyway, I started using the thermometer only the other day on my pregnant girl (dog). I also bought the iProven Disposable Probe Covers and these work perfectly together with a little petroleum jelly to get a good temperature reading. I will admit it's not the fastest reading thermometer, however it is so small that it doesn't bother my girl to wait for the beep when it has reached temp and I think it is accurate. I have a larger sized thermometer, but I feel better using this one for her since she's only about 10lbs.

I need accurate information when it comes to my fur kids health. I find this product easy to use which is a big help too.

EDITED 3/9 I am changing my original 1 start review to a 3 simply because of the superior customer service I received upon the company learning about my dissatisfaction with the product. They truly are standing behind their product and putting their customers first, and are sending me another thermometer. I will come back to edit this review yet again if I have a better experience with the product itself, but the company customer service is above and beyond. I purchased two of these and they both stopped working after just a few uses. The first one I thought maybe it was just a defect, and it’s cheap enough that I didn’t mind purchasing another one. But the second one had been used a total of 3 times before it stopped working and wouldn’t turn on again. I also don’t know why some reviews say that it gives a fast reading because it absolutely does not. It takes about 15-20 seconds to give the reading which is a long time trying to hold a dog in position and have them not move. Look elsewhere.

I have had this thermometer for just under a month, and it just stopped working. No display at all. I bought it to occasionally check temps on my paraplegic cat. She is prone to urinary tract infections, but she never displays symptoms since she has no sensation in that part of her body. I used this thermometer a dozen times at most, and now it's either broken, or I have to order a rare type of battery to continue using it. I'm grumpy.

Great product! Used this to take my pregnant bitches temperature on the lead up to her due date. The flexible end made it more comfortable for her and was easy to use. Temperature read came up quickly and was consistent.
