Great piney goodness for you lathe
Works great! This stuff is great for multiple uses in metal working, from tapping lathe cutting tools and back saws and drill. Thick and easy to apply low melting point so works well on low cutting speeds. Smell of pine, not surprised as it contains pine oils. If you need quality non stop cutting compound for you lathe work or drill try this, it will not disappoint.

Works on stainless steel
Stainless steel is a pig to drill and cobalt drills and a really low drill speed is a must if you don’t want to instantly burn them out. A dab of this grease really helped to keep them cool and if you see smoke, you know you are pushing things too hard and you can pause to save your drills.

Not the best a bit thin
It’s ok while drill bit cool but not so good once drill bit gets warm . What they can’t produce a product with a thicker viscosity and still good a higher temps
