Nice molds
I bought this set for the plastic sand molds (we just built a sand and water table). The sand was just a bonus for us, but it seems nice enough for the kids to play with. I dumped the sand into a tub for my 5 year old and he had fun filling the molds. We found that the sand held its shape nicely when molded. I don't know what Kinetic sand or Moon sand are like, so I can't say if this sand is like either of those. I agree with the other review that said the sand felt like old brown sugar, hard. But when I broke a clod open in my hand, the sand seemed to expand or move outward. It was kinda cool, but the effect wasn't super noticeable. The molds are about 3-4 inches wide and perfect for little hands to fill and turn over.

It does hold together nicely, and cleans up easily
Much stiffer than I wanted. It does hold together nicely, and cleans up easily. I also ordered some Sands Alive and it is extremely soft and so but also cleans up great. So I like it better.

I mean, it's kinetic sand...kind of hard to mess that up. It came with several little molds which was nice.
