looks like i can wear these as an earring?

I wouldn't recommend it. It's way too heavy and big - something like 12 inches wide and metal. Think salad-plate sized. It's even too big for a necklace.

Need directions on how to open it out? Perhaps post a video ?

1.hold the wind spinner firmly in the palm of one hand 2.with your other hand grasp the bottom right of the centre and push slowly 3. the centre will turn out, keep pressing until the vane is between 45-65 degrees. pls try . we will put an video in our shop to teach how to open soon .

There were no instructions with this so my son started on the outside and slightly bent the spinner. He then moved towards the center and bent it slightly so the wind would catch it and spin
