Trife Life to Lavish: Genesis & Genevieve...Am I My Brother's Keeper Paperback – June 15, 2010

I read the entire “Bitch” and “Female Hustler” series before I knew you had to read the different series in order. Still doesn’t change the fact that I love these books. It’s nice to see a different perspective of the characters. It’s a lot of characters but if you pay attention all of the blanks are filled in and make sense.

I just downloaded Trife Life to Lavish Part 2. I am so confused! I have read all of the Bitch Series, Stackin Paper, the first Trife Life, the problem is I'm not sure which order these books are supposed to be read. Today I read one of the reviews that mentioned Dirty Little Secrets and Hooker to Housewife, now I had no idea those books were tied to the Bitch/Stackin Paper/Trife Life series. If you're reading this review and you know the order in which the books should be read would you please list the order for me. I would greatly appreciate it. I think the problem is the books that follow in a series take so long to come out and I forget about them until I come to Amazon and start searching for something to read. And, they take longer to put out the Kindle edition. I was fortunate with the Bitch series because I did not download them until I was able to download all of what I thought was in the series. Now I'm finding out that that they are tied into to Stackin and Trife. UGU! I'm going to start reading Trife 2 and hope that it some how ties everything together for me. I just hate that although I downloaded samples of Dirty Little Secrets and Hooker to Housewife I haven't read them yet. Somebody please help me out here. Thank you so much to whoever is kind enough to list the order in which these books should be read. One more thing, I think I read that there's another book coming out in the Bitch series. If you know anything about this book would you explain that also. Thanks again!

I totally liked this one. Deja King broke it down and put all her main characters from all her other books into this one.Genesis looking for his sister and Coco falling in love with him.Nichelle trying to get answers answered about why Renny aint call and is Tierra deadPrecious trying to move on with her husband Supreme, daughter Aaliyah that she finds out is really Nico's daughter and keep the peace between Supreme and Nico. Also trying to work a relationship out with her father Quentin.Quentin trying to keep the peace with Precious and Maya and also working on getting Maya out of jail.Arnez has so many enermies that wants him dead so he is hidding plus trying to get back at Genesis by looking for Genesis long lost sister and teachiing Genesis a lesson.Nico wants more with Precious in his heart but, he is there for his daughter Aaliyah while Supreme is plotting to take him down with Arnez help.Precious finds out about Supreme and Arnez and puts a end to that.Nichelle really finds out the answers and really finds out whats going on while trying to keep her modeling career going and trying to not let everyone know everything about her pass.Over all good book lots of issues suprise ending that really blew me away at the end.

Forget what you heard, when you can tie like 6 books together and make them flow like water in a river, you are one bad mamma jamma and that is exactly what Deja King is. This lady had hit you from every possible angle she can and don't leave out a thing. You will love this book just like the rest. You will be on the edge of the seat with not wanting to put the book down.One thing I have to say is I don't like that this book had so much about Precious in it. I think too much of the story should have been in another Bitch series only because if you don't know how much her story's tie together, you will be lost not knowing how the Bitch series ended because it is in the trife life series, then on the other hand, if you don't read this series, you won't know how people tied into the bitch series. Like I said she mastered putting a ton of books to one story, but I think the mixing got a little out of hand on this one. The book should have been mainly on Genevea and Genesis. Other than that, great read loved it.

This book was "off da chain". I recommend that you read this book but before you do read the "Bitch" series. This book and "Trife Life to Lavish" is a continuation of that series. You don't have to read the series to appreciate this book and the one that precedes it but I guaranteed that it will make your reading more enjoyable.I would have given this book five stars but the editing or lack of, really aggravated me. I read this book on my Kindle so I don't know if this is a problem in the paperback. The Kindle (e-book) look like the original file was converted using OCR to create the file for the Kindle. I have seen this before since I do a lot of writing and editing of technical procedures. If you do OCR you MUST go back through the new file and edit it. The OCR has the tendency to run an entire sentence and sometime a group of sentences together as if it were one word.

This series jumps ahead and I’m not even sure if what book is what. So many details are missing. I read stacking paper 1 and 2, and Trife Life to lavish 1 but who are the extra characters? I’m might be missing something. The book is great tho besides all the jumping around.

I really liked this book. I am playing catch because I read the books out of order, so I am trying to put them all together. I would recommend to read.
