Nice compressor. Unlike the rest of the eMax compressors, it’s a little cheaper because the motor is not a BAldor and pump is also from the same manufacturer( Airbase) as the motor. I believe the motor and pump is made in USA in OH but not sure. Some of the specs on this is wrong, it’s 25 full load amps not 32. It’s a TEFC motor, so it’s totally enclosed and fan cooled, what some people call farm duty. It’s a beefy motor, probably weighs 100lbs. 2 belts, and came with a 1 inch discharge port. Not 60 decibels! Bull spit! More like 78-79 at 3 feet inside a building. Maybe outside it might be quieter. When I got it, the magnetic starter was wired wrong. Some1 screwed up, so had to download a Manuel from eatoncompressor.com since no docs came with it. Used 8 gauge wire. Recommend to go with a 40amp breaker (5hp model) but I think a 30 amp and 10 gauge would be ok., but I’m no electrician. Don’t use the 12 gauge wire.Motor is very torqueeeee so you can see it shake the top of the compressor when on while the feet are anchored to the floor and vibration pads installed.Major cons; none , minor cons, crappy color, crappy cheap looking hulk sticker decal. Took it off. Magnetic starter/thermal overload protector made in China.

Compressor arrived in a protective angle iron 'cage' that securely mounted the unit to the shipping pallet and protected the unit in shipment..very impressive!. Unit is very well made and of substantial materials and workmanship.
