Melissa & Doug Food Groups, 21-Piece Wooden Toys Set of Pretend Play Food & Kids Play Kitchen Accessories, Preschool Toys for Girls & Boys Ages 3+

This kids’ food toy set is really great. I love that it’s made of wood — that’s a big plus for durability and safety. The set includes a wide variety of items: meat, fish, dairy products, and vegetables, so it’s perfect for imaginative play and learning about food. Everything is well made, sturdy, and looks nice. The quality is very good, with smooth surfaces and pleasant colors. A special highlight is the wooden boxes — they make play more realistic and also help with storage and organization. For such a large and diverse wooden set, the price is very reasonable. Overall, a high-quality, educational toy that kids really enjoy

Very cute little set, my baby loved playing with it. Love that the items are big enough to avoid choking

This set was a gift for a 3 year old, he loved it. I love the quality and the durability of this brand . Vibrant colors , well made , and the little box is perfect for storing all the prices . They play for hours .

Cute, solid, good size, and vibrant. I also like the little wooden crates that the pieces come in. These seem pricy but when you actually compare closely to other options, it’s not bad for how many pieces and the quality you’re getting. A few downsides: some of the pieces are less detailed than others. For example, the orange is literally just an orange ball, vs the cheese which has some character. Also, there’s a few pieces with unfinished wood, including the bread. Raw wood is less play-friendly so I try to avoid it with the little one’s toys. Overall, a good purchase. The kiddo is enjoying them.

The Melissa & Doug Food Set is absolutely fantastic! The pieces are sturdy, realistic, and beautifully made—perfect for little hands. My kids love “cooking” and serving meals with this set, and it has quickly become one of the most-played-with toys in our play kitchen. I appreciate the quality wood construction and the bright, classic colors that make it feel timeless. Great for pretend play, imagination, and learning about food. Highly recommend for any toddler or preschooler’s playroom!

Great quality. So detailed. My toddler loves these

I got rid of all the plastic, flimsy, or broken play food and changed it to wooden play food. Something easier to clean and more durable. With a 2 year old and 5 year old we need something that will last us time but also abuse from them and their friend thats here often. They love to play chef, house or restruant. These are a perfect addition to our play kitchen. Durable, fun colors, relastic, strudy, great value for the price. My friend was impressed she ended up getting some for her son. So glad I found these and the kiddos love them.

Great Quality, fun set.
