If you buy this, buy it TWO sizes UP.
The other reviews are correct, buy this two sizes larger. I'm glad I read the review stating this. I felt funny buying an XXX size, as I'm 6' and 200lbs, and fairly athletic... i.e. I may look better at 195, but I'm pretty darn close to my target weight, and most clothing fits me in an L or XL.This looked pretty "good" on... kind of like the picture. It was a nice suit for snorkeling, but honestly, I don't see it getting used very much. It's primary purpose is for sun protection. If you've ever been out snorkeling for a full day you know how badly you can get burned if you don't take precautions. That fear prompted me to buy this, but as it turns out, my legs mainly got some color... and a long-sleeved sun protection shirt was my primary line of defense. That option was dramatically less awkward. In two weeks of snorkeling I only saw two other people in something like this, whereas a long-sleeved surf/sun shirt was reasonably common.I'd almost return this as I highly doubt I'll use it much, but I guess it's worth having on hand, just in case. As others have mentioned, don't kid yourself into thinking this will keep you warm during or after a swim... it doesn't do any insulating like a thin wetsuit or shorty would... and as soon as you get out of the water this will only KEEP you COLD, until it dries.I think my 4 star review on this is fair. I consider this a 4-star product as long as you get it for considerably less than the listed retail price (like I did) and buy it 2 sizes too big. That said, the real value of this depends on how much you actually use it. After my recent trip, I wouldn't buy this again... but I can see where it could be a lifesaver for a lot of people (from the sun) and if you're in an environment mixed with divers and snorkelers, you won't look out of place. On the day I put this to use I felt like I was walking around in a batman costume... people may have thought I was arrogantly out of place, prancing around in a "look at me" suit, but I was actually self conscious and would have preferred more common attire that day.I trust the old saying, "better safe than sorry"... I understand people who will appreciate the full-body sun protection... and especially for somebody who is at higher risk in the sun, this may be the answer to safely enjoying your sun-exposure vacation, but this is where it becomes a personal choice that you'll have to make for yourself. If you already know you want something like this... and are sure you wouldn't be better off with a thin wetsuit (I think many people who buy this would be happier with a thin wetsuit, but at much higher cost), then I can fully recommend this on value... i.e. the quality for the cost.

Thanks To the Reviewers Who Recommended Sizing Up
I've only tried it on with my wetsuit and it seems to do the trick. I'll update this review after spending time in the water. The thumb hole is a bit awkward...it's just a piece of elastic. It works okay to prevent the sleeve from creeping up when putting my wetsuit on; but, it's pretty uncomfortable to continue using it as a thumb hole; meaning, I wouldn't have my thumb in it when swimming pool laps. This feature may be a deal-breaker for swimmers wanting to use it as a full-body swim suit. Without a true thumb hole and hand coverage, it might create drag in the water. I guess it depends on the fit. If it's snug enough around the wrists, it shouldn't be a problem, I guess. Mine's not snug at the wrists, so it would create drag....but, I bought it to use with my wetsuit; so it's fine for me. I think I'd go with a fabric that is a little thicker and has a bit more compression for a pool full body swim suit, [food for thought].Speaking of fit...THANK YOU to all the reviewers who suggested going up 1, 2, or 3 sizes. I went up 2 sizes and it fits pretty well... I don't think their sizing chart is accurate, especially regarding height. The zipper is good quality. All in all, I think I'll be happy with its performance.Heads up...after you make sure you want to keep it, wash it by hand and hang dry it, before wearing it. I washed it by hand 3 times and each time the water turned grey...finally the last rinse did the trick. So glad I thought about it before I decided to wear it in the water all day.Update coming soon...

OK dive skin
Not as thick as the skin I’m replacing. Lacks some of the finer details.

Better than expected
Great, stylish and durable. Easy return when I accidentally ordered wrong size the first time.

multi-purpose dive skin for warm water
...waited to write a review until I had a chance to use it on a dive trip. ...worked out great! It's more of a dive skin than a wet suit...basically swim suit material, so it's really easy to put on and take off even when wet, though it dries pretty quickly. I'm a short (5'3'-5'4"), round (195 lbs) woman, so I ordered an XXL to make sure I wouldn't be straining the seams too much. Of course, I had to hem the legs a good bit, but at my height, EVERYTHING has to be hemmed. Otherwise, the fit was great. After 6 days of diving in 85 degree salt water +/-, I was protected neck to ankles from the sun. (Being fair skinned, I tend to burn easily, so this worked out great! Totally protected me from the sun.) ...very comfy, and even provides a wee bit of protection from brushing up against anything in the water...though I can't testify to exactly how much protection it provides since I didn't actually brush up against anything significant.I took an actual wet suit on the trip just in case, but I didn't end up needing it in such warm, mild water. This dive skin worked just fine. After 6 days of diving and thorough rinsing A LOT, the logos on the suit pretty much disappeared/peeled off...which doesn't bother me, but I thought I'd mention it in case that matters to anyone else.I really like this one, so I plan to buy another one next year. ...not that I plan on this one wearing out all that soon, but like most "clothing," swim suit material does eventually pick and start to wear out with heavy use, especially if you're sitting on a textured seat while gearing up.

This is NOT a wetsuit
While the product appears to be well-made, it is important to point out that it is NOT a wetsuit. I searched for Wetsuits and this item came up. The word wetsuit is in the title and in the description, but it is just a silky "skin" - thin material, with no insulating value whatsoever. It will keep you from getting a sunburn, or a rash if you are lying on your belly on a surfboard, but it will not keep you warm in the water - which was why I ordered it. It looks like good quality, but was not at all what I was looking for so I returned this item.

Sun protection! Really great for those of us "burn and peelers".
Honestly, my wife thinks I look a bit silly in this, but I burn VERY easily and I'm tired of continuously applying sunscreen and polluting the water with chemicals. Wearing this (and some swim shorts over top... it doesn't leave much to the imagination by itself!) I felt really protected from the sun and the proof is in the pudding... I was out all day in the hot Cuban sun and only had to worry about a little bit of sunscreen on hands, head and neck.It is a snug fit for a tall person (I find I have to "crouch" into it a bit, but it stretches) and the material is thinner than I thought it would be, but it protected me from the sun without noxious chemicals and I'm glad for it.

Careful with the seize and weather protection
Thin (very thin). Adds some warmth but do not expect the same warmth and comfort level you get from a full on Wetsuit. This is more for skin protection than weather proofing. That being said, the biggest thing about it is, order a seize higger. I am a small, I ordered a small, and mine is definitely smaller than what I expected. As you can see in the photos. So 3 stars for being affordable, but not falsely described
