MGP Natural Reed Fence, 4'H x 14'L

My husband and I got back from a trip to Hawaii and wanted to keep the island spirit alive on our patio. This screen was so easy to use and looks incredible! We didn't really need it for privacy, but it does give us a few extra inches of screen above our half wall, so that's an extra bonus! I'm a smaller woman and it was easy to work with and light enough for me to put it up myself. I used outdoor command strips on the wall to hold the fence in place, and I haven't had any issues with it falling down or anything! Also, we live in Washington, and loved to see that this came from a farm not too far from us!

1. Some of the bamboo pieces were broke when it arrived but when you install it isn't noticeable. Very easy to install on my balcony rail. I purchased it to block pigeons from entering my balcony and it definitely did the job. Perfect for my small NYC apartment! Definitely recommend.

Shipment was delayed, and was almost cancelled. Nonetheless, it is a decent shade. I installed it on my balcony for privacy. I can see everything through it while on the deck, but from the outside, my deck is blocked from view. The reed material seems a bit light, and I don’t expect it to be a permanent fixture, but for the price, it was worth it. The “threading” is thin wire, which makes it more durable. It was relatively easy to install, using a mix of zipties and bread-ties. Make sure not to tie it too tight, nor stretch the shade too tight, lest the reeds break. It should be secured enough, that the wind doesn’t shake it.

I bought this to line our front yard fenced in area for the summer, as we had a blow up pool, friends over, dogs and kids playing, and the iron fence we have does not offer hardly any privacy from the super busy street we live on!! From the street it looks more dense and hard to see but surprisingly on our side, we can see through it, which is ideal!!! We used dark brown zip ties to adhere it to the fence already grounded and sturdy so had no issues with it BUT if you do not have a sturdy fence to line it with I can see it being harder to stand on it's own. This was a good, less-expensive option for a quick need/fix. Great buy for this purpose!!!

These are lesser quality - reeds aren't as straight, they aren't twined together tight, and some reeds pop out because they are not attached at both ends (if it's only held on one side, a reed will flap). They work marginally as a privacy screen. If you want them for aesthetics, it's great and inexpensive. It costs double to get 2x the quality so it depends on your application.

Easy to roll out on overhead arbor which I secured with lightweight lattice. Keeps out heavy sun rays but has filtered light with tropical feel (I leave on 3miles of open water)

If you want your balcony to look like a tropical oasis, buy these and wrap them around the balcony. They look so stylish and keep me from worrying about my cats being out on the balcony.

I purchased 2 of these bamboo fence products to add a bit more privacy. As u can see in my video, there's plain old black bars that offer NO PRIVACY whatsoever You're able to see everything we're doing & even inside the house. I think they look great, although some breakage. I'm 5'5 and cut to the length of the bars, it just didn't look good and I show this too in the video. I didn't think of buying matching tie to fasten it all together. It would look a lot better but it really doesn't stick out to much like I thought it would. Great Purchase, I'd definitely buy again and would recommend to others. KEEP SMILING ~

Bought for decor/wind break on patio. Was able to cut to size. Very attractive!

As expected. As other comments suggest - it's thinner and allows more light to pass through than I thought. If using for more privacy, I bought some cheap brown burlap used in gardening to put behind. Gives it a more solid appearance. Height and size are as listed - maybe a foot shorter though. Good purchase.

I really love it. I used zip ties to tie it on, it has like 75% Opacity which I like, it could be doubled for full privacy. It adds a nice tiki flare to my balcony

Just what I was looking for. Perfect for little coverage at my balcony. Thin but stable when you tie it well.

The screen material is fairly thin. Made of dried straw-grass. Not bamboo. So, it's not very sturdying. It wont hold up to rough handling which was the problem when I received the shipment. The shipping packaging was not well-packed. There was lots of broken straw-grasses piece when it was opened. The screen itself is decent. Note: it does not provide complete privacy. The straw-grass is sparsely tied together. So, it it see-through.
