Worked great for me, no leaks

I'm tall so needed an extender. I have a Sprite shower filter so that pushes the shower head "down" at least 3 inches. It was OK and usable but always felt the shower spray a bit too low for me. This extender is not bulky and felt well-constructed. Attractive and sturdy. Easy to install - note you'll need your own thread tape. I'll test it tomorrow but it's not leaking and I have adjusted bicycles and know that it's all a matter of inches and millimeters, and this shower extender seems to be providing a good solution by raising the shower head enough. I don't want to ask the landlord to install another shower pipe! I feel the price is good for what you get, as well!

I used this on my rainfall shower head. So far no leaks, and the serrated teeth lock in the adjustments. No change in the water flow either. It moved the head just far enough away from the wall so that one of us wouldn’t be bumping into the shower valve…. 😎

A bit shorter than I thought. But a very good product.

At it's lowest angle, my handheld shower doesn't point down as much as I's like it to. This 4" arm allows can be angled in such a way that I can actually turn the handheld shower head so the water comes straight down if I wanted it to. This is perfect for what I wanted.

The Good: It's near impossible to find a short shower arm extender, so this might be your only option. It works just fine, extending your shower head just enough to give it a new perspective in your shower stall. It's generally well made, with a free-floating metal bolt on the important shower-arm end. And it tends to not leak from the adjustment screws (which is where these types of things mostly leak). With the dedicated application of a lot of extra teflon tape, this short solid arm seems to do the job. The Not-So-Good: It's not perfect. It's short and weak; you will have trouble trying to hold up a heavy dual or hand-held shower head. You need to apply a lot more teflon tape than you normally would consider. (Always wrap clockwise!) Aiming the arm is an exercise in coordination between tightening the joints. And the metal on the free-floating connector bolt is "soft"; you can see in my photo scratches on it made by my wrench despite using a cloth to pad the teeth. And... there's the inevitable leak. You can see it in the photo peeping out just behind the connector bolt. There seems to be no way to stop this. I replaced the included washer with a larger, tighter-fitting rubber washer inside the connection, and really tightened it down on the thick layer of teflon tape, and I still get this tiny slow drip at that juncture. I guess I can live with it. No adjustable shower arm extender of this design that I have ever installed has ever, ever worked perfectly. They all leak. This one leaks just a little, which is better than leaking a lot. Because of past experience with this kind of adjustable shower arm extender, every time I turn on this shower I expect this short arm to spring a serious leak somewhere. But so far, it has performed adequately. Worth a try.

Neat solution to shower head height preference disparity. She likes low, I prefer higher. It is adjustable over about a 8” range of height, and so far does not leak. So that’s a big plus.

Sturdy and well-made this arm solve the problem of my pipe tilt to the left. I tightened too strong at the beginning and leaked a bit so do go crazy on that. But everything else is great

Works ok the first time but once you adjust it. It'll never stay in Position again.

Good quality and doesn't leak. Gives you extra room to tilt your showerhead as to prevent water spray on your doors.

Item arrived quickly and was packaged securely. Exactly as described by the seller. Looks like it is well made however, the locking mechanism could be better and the washers that come with it could be thicker with a smaller inside diameter. I had to replace the washers with some of my own to complete a good seal. Kept leaking at the shower arm extension. When firmly attached, the original washer would get squeezed inside the shower extension arm and leak. Had to remove it twice before I found out what the problem was. After I replaced the defective washer with one of my own, the problem was solved. If the manufacturer provided the correct washers, I would have given five stars. Otherwise the product works great. I recommend but, be prepared to swap out the washers.
