Bona Fide Beauty Glass Nail File with Case (Aqua Cobalt), Made in Czech

Bought as I'm suffering from splitting nails which also delaminate at the tips. Using one of these, filing in a single direction across the nail tip, is supposed to help with causing the nails layers to re-bond. It's certainly very gentle and hard to believe that it can be that gentle and yet remove nail at a respectable rate. Using this a couple of times a week, for a quick rub on every nail is all I need, supposedly, and we shall see. The other advice I received was spot-on so I'm hoping this is too. The price is great for a file that will never wear out, and will last forever unless broken. They're toughened glass and unless bent sharply or dropped on a hard surface, shouldn't break at all easily.

Great nail file, works a treat, nice case, can't fault it. If you haven't yet switched to glass, this is a good one to get.

I have never really like metal or card nail files. This glass file is a game changer. I love that it leaves my nails nice and smooth and that I can file in either direction. Also that it will last years - so long as I don't drop it onto a hard surface. Another benefit is that it is dishwasher safe, so I can clean it once a month. As opposed to other glass nail files the pointy end is slim enough to fit under my nails, if there are any bits that need removing. The only thing I'm not keen on is the cheapness of the carrying case - it otherwise spoils what is a lovely product. That aside I would recommend this glass nail file.

I used this for the first time yesterday evening as I had a very ragged nail to tackle after damaging it at work. I was pleased with the results. It took mere seconds to file my nail smooth. Astonishing indeed. I'm very surprised but so pleased with this glass file. I would recommend it 100%.

Absolutely fabulous and makes filing your nails so easy with no rough edges and no having to make sure always filing in the same direction. So impressed, bought them as presents for friends who now wouldn't use any other nail file either

Love this file - recent problem with splitting nails and it is much gentler than emery boards - great bright colour so it’s easy to spot in my full drawer or bulging handbag - would definitely buy again!

I used to work with a couple of people who had used glass nail files for years and swore by them. I couldn’t see the hype personally, glass or emery board it does the same job right? I was on a flight probably about 6 years ago now and they had them in the in flight magazine so I decided to buy one. I’ve never gone back to an emery board since. The glass nail file is so much smoother than the coarse emery board yet it’s just as effective if not much better. I recently recommended one to my mum but she wasn’t convinced so I ended up buying this one for her as a little gift. She’s not used anything else since either 😂 It comes in a little carry case so handy to keep in your handbag.

Very late to the review. Bought this nail file approximately two years ago, works really well, leaves my nails smoother than other files, is aesthetically pleasing and it still works perfectly fine after all this time. I’m really happy with it.

The file is good and has not worn down after using it for months. I bought this to replace my more expensive glass file which broke and it has served me well in replacement. The case is great for storage and protects it.
