Fly Swatter Heavy Duty Edition - Swat is Made with Thick Leather Swatter and Durable Wooden Handle - Will Last Lifetime

I was tired of the plastic swatters breaking, so purchased this an alternative. My wife asked "WTH?" when this arrived, as it definitely looks like some S&M toy, but it does kill flies nicely. I took one star away because the fly guts are very visible and stain the light leather. It is a bit gross to see.

I'll never need another fly swatter. This one's it. The cost was... a little hard to swallow, but I was desperate. Those cheap plastic ones weren't made to last. We don't have a/c and with windows open, it's like a barn in here! You have to practice a little to get the "slap" just right, so that you're getting the leather to smack it, not the wooden handle. Even with some failed (quite hard) hits with the handle at first, this swatter took the beating like a champ. Now that I have the technique down, it doesn't require much force at all to get those annoying buggers once and for all.

Says will last a life time. we just used it for second time and handle broke. With the amount paid it should have lasted a few years at least.

Nicely made but my flip flop is better for killing flies. Works great on wasps outside however.

Although this fly swatter is a quality fly swatter I find the leather flap is not stiff enough and therefore makes it difficult to swat an insect with it.

I do NOT tolerate flies in my kitchen in the spring and summer months and I’m violent with the swatter. My last swatter broke into pieces, so I ordered this one. Oh my! It takes much less force and it schmooshes the flies into paste. I love it!

The swatter is a good quality but the leather detached from the stick after 15 months use. We live out in the country with lots of flies, so we used it more than is normal and this may be some of the reason.

This is a very nice fly swatter, the leather has well finish edges, the handle is nice maple, turned and to top it off the swatter is pinned to the handle in two places.Really top notch!
