Mine didn't have arrows.** A: ONLY ONE OF MINE HAD A FAINT ARROW. THE CARBON SIDE WAS DOWN, AIR FLOW FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. **Q: This doesn’t fit the 2015 nv1500? They are too long, also if they are to be cut , you have to use both?** A: Use ONLY the part specified in your manual or use an auto parts site to find out exactly what you need. Hint: don’t face your vehicle towards the sun when installing if like mine. My filters are located behind the glove box, so facing the sun blinds you while looking into a black hole. Once I found the cover for the filters, it was easy to pull the old ones out (Dirty!) and put the new ones in, (arrow pointing DOWN for me). I set my calendar on my phone to remind me to replace this every 2 years.
