Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, Rise Up Rose, Matte Finish

This lipstick is a nice, long wearing color and I would buy it again

I have an array of these Revlon matte lipsticks, but I use up the Rise Up Rose color more than any other and I have tubes of it in all my makeup kits. I’ m often asked about this color when wearing it.

I love the color and the feel of this lipstick however I ordered three of them and all three are broken. One of them was labeled wrong.

a very fine lipstick - just right for me

This is the ultimate 'my lips but better' shade. The staying power is pretty strong, and blotting isn't strictly necessary to prevent color rub-off. This shade is truly matte. The formulation of the lipstick isn't too drying. I would say it's about as pigmented as some of the higher-end lipsticks I've owned, and the feel is similar. There isn't a weird smell (either unintentionally or intentionally) - it smells like nothing! It also is pretty resilient to melting. These shades also have about a 2 (on a scale from 0-10, 0 being the least harmful) on the EWG safety scale, which is very good for a drugstore lipstick.

Beautiful, creamy lipstick. I have extremely dry lips but that is not a problem with this lipstick. It is very hydrating and is beautiful. It is slightly sheer but that is a small price to pay for such a nice lipstick. Highly recommend!

A lipstick which lasts 24 hours a day, just wonderful!!!

Colour a little less vibrant than I use.

This is a regular revlon lipstick. It arrived at my house looking like it was in good shape. The lipstick was wrapped in regular shrink wrap plastic. The lipstick had been stored badly or dropped. The bullet was loose from the casing and crushed against lid. Disappointing. The texture of the lipstick is quite nice. I liked the case. I'm pale skinned with a slightly yellow tone, the colour didn't do anything for me.

This rise up rose revlon lipstick was such a disappointment. The image on amazon is shown as a lovely copper - orange brown what I received was a dull muddy brown nude colour. I gave it the benefit of doubt and tried it, unfortunately it really didn't suit my olive skin. I have bought lots of revlon lipsticks and this is the first one that's not being perfect. Although the colour is awful it is still very moisturising for a matte lipstick and stays on well. Hopefully one of my friends will like this shade as a freebie.
