Boba X Ergonomic Baby Carrier Newborn to Toddler, Black Beauty

Very comfortable and baby loves it. 100% success rate so far as he loves snuggling in on our walks. Fits very well and I'm plus size with a larger bust. This was something I was apprehensive about before buying! Good sturdy material and the straps are easy to adjust while baby-wearing. The instructions included weren't the clearest - I had to consult YouTube to learn there are detachable bits to remove before baby use and they are reattached later for older kids... Overall this is a great product and we are getting plenty of use out of it.

Graduated from a Boba stretchy wrap to the Boba X and my baby loves it! She fell asleep almost straight away the first time using it, and it has so many handy features and is super adjustable so it’s easy to get the right fit. Excellent quality, I did a lot of research into which carrier to get next and I’m so happy I got this one.

This is the best carrier we’ve used, really comfortable and baby feels very well supported. Love the hood feature and the phone pocket, both very handy. Adjustable enough to fit my little one as she grows.

I love love love baby carriers and only wish I'd started with my first. I got introduced to them with my 2nd and now 4 years later, I have done tons and tons of research and have several different carriers to suit different situations. This carrier has a really soft panel. It really hugs my baby as similarly to a wrap as you could get. The buckles are super easy to click on on your own and getting baby in or out is really simple and quick. My husband and I have swapped wearing it and it's really easy to do this. He's quite a bit bigger than me too. He really likes having baby in this carrier and the hood panels also helps support baby's head when she's asleep, especially when she was younger. The shoulder straps are cushioned too and the position of the baby in the carrier is just right for that ergonomic fit. I have also managed to breastfeed her in the carrier when needs must but I, personally, found it trickier and it's not an everyone occurrence. It totally depends on your own size, experience and also on baby's age and experience. My baby was 1 month old when I first got it whereas now at nearly 5 months she sits up more and grabs on like a bottle sometimes which helps. A big bonus is being able to machine wash it and then I just hang it over the radiator to dry. So so convenient because babies will inevitably be sick on it! So I've mainly done front carry but have back carried a few times. I'm not as confident putting her on my back and have struggled with the straps which is why more recently I have bought another carrier (a half buckle one) to add to my growing collection. Saying that, she much prefers being on my front for now and when she's older, I know this carrier will be absolutely amazing for her! I used a manduca before for my son when he was 2 and it's a similar style. It unsure, read reviews and watch YouTube videos like I did. The negatives: The straps can rub under the arm if you're not wearing a 3/4 or a long sleeved top. It didn't leave me sore but it annoyed me cos I felt it and it was uncomfortable. The straps and adjustments are really stiff when new. I have loosened the main straps I use to tighten baby when she's on and they're super easy to adjust but to adjust some of the less used ones I have to feed it through or really pull (this needs to be done with carrier off and obviously no baby).

It fits most babies sizes and can easily get a M shape so it's ergonomic, however, it's really awkward to adjust on your own, you have to almost break your shoulders to be able to reach the strap to tighten it and loosen it. And even though it says it can be used across you back, the angle of the straps makes it uncomfortable as they don't sit flat. Not sure if I would recommend to be honest.

We took a trip to Rome earlier this summer and bought this carrier to get our 3-year old around the crowded city and busy streets. Couldn’t be happier with it. She’s getting close to 4 so she was near the upper weight limit but it still worked just fine. I wouldn’t push it and go beyond the weight limit, however! I think it was a tad tight around her legs since she is a bit older but if you’re within the suggested weight, it will serve you well.

Thought a lot before buying but ended having a great choice though a little expensive. Excellent brand. Excellent quality.

I've tried several carriers including Baby Bjorn, sling carriers, soft wraps, and Mai Dai (spelling?) carriers, but this one is by far the best of them all and most reasonably priced. Have carried my 3 month old all the way up to 3 year old in it and love it, it's the one item I've used most with both my kids. Kid must face you either on front or back. Back carry is great for toddlers (especially if you are travelling abroad or in a crowd and don't have a stroller handy). Front carry for infant/babies is great. Once they have neck control the baby can be carried on back too but if they fall asleep in carrier they should be carried on the front to protect their neck. Legs do proper M shape so they don't get hip dysplasia. No forward carry option as that is terrible for baby spines. Easy access for handsfree breastfeeding while babywearing. Carrier puts baby's weight directly on your hips so I've not had back pain with this carrier unless I'm wearing for extended periods (I'm talking hours and hours in a day of nap walks or hikes) which is unavoidable with any carrier. It's soft and packs up very small, easy to wash. Straps clip together in the back so you're not fighting with criss crossed straps.
