When the retriever arrived, neither my husband nor I could turn any section of the pole to extend it. With the help of pliers we can now extend one section and will live with it that way for fear of breaking it. Thought about returning it but decided it was too much trouble. I had one of similar design for many years but the plastic head broke recently. I prefer the design of the head to other retrievers on the market.

Difficult to “stick” ball into circle when in water with a soft bottom. Often muddies water before successful pressing of ball into ring.

Not only does this retriever pick up golf balls out of the water, but you can easily scoop the balls out of the muck. It doesn’t require downward pressure to capture the ball. It’s a great length and has already retrieved a large number of balls for me.

worked ok for couple months then the extension grip mechanism would not hold the extension poles tight. Head flops arouns and cannot be used to capture a ball. Worthless, poor design and workmanship.

Works great for retrieving balls in woods & water. Sturdy. Will definitely pay for itself within a few rounds!
