Wonder how well that would work.** A: I'm anyone, so I tried it. At first blush, the dry pencils take very well to the mildly toothy surface. I am able to pretty much bury the black with a few layers of color. On to the water test, going over areas with both a damp and a loaded brush the colors muted around +/- 50%, with thicker layers remaining strongest. I only really saturated a small area, about a square inch, but got no sign of buckling or fuzzing of the surface. Adding more layers (I went to three in this test) was good as well. I should note that this is a somewhat "blue-black" and will push yellows toward green and reds toward purple, especially when wet. Overall the 300gm paper holds up well and the combination is fun. **Q: Can this paper be used for finished work and framed?** A: For studies or finished art.
