Can this be used with heat sources like a flat iron? or should this product be applied afterward?

I have chemically untreated hair and this product helps me to maintain a nice natural curl texture. It's a little heavy so if you apply a very small amount before you flat iron it should be fine. Too much applied before you flat iron I think would weigh your hair down.

Will it work on making hair grow faster and longer?

I returned this product. After getting it the box said it could not guarantee product was organic, but this was 2 years ago. that may have changed. What is working for me is a product from Amazon called HAIRFLUENCE.

Does the product contain phenoxyethanol?

I sent the product back because it has the preservative parabens which is linked to breast cancer. The title 'Organics' is deceiving. It is false advertising. The product is not organic. It has many chemicals that are harmful to the human body. I cannot remember if it had phenoxyethanol but the parabens were bad enough. As I mentioned the preservative parabens is linked to breast cancer.
