Pond's Dark Spot Corrector, Clarant B3 Normal to Dry Skin, 7 oz

I do try to take care of myself. I was trying on v-neck t-shirt at the beginning of summer (June) and was a little bothered when I saw several spots (around nine) on my upper chest that had never been there before. I figured it was just part of aging and considered going to a dermatologist for a professional assessment and possible treatment. In the meantime, I searched online for a product that might work. In addition to the reviews I read here, I saw online videos reviewing this product and I was a little on the fence, but it is priced so that it could just be a moisturizer and i wouldn't be disappointed. No, I did not apply it every day because I use a variety of moisturizers but I did make it a point to apply it "regularly". I applied it liberally to my chest, shoulders and sometimes my face. I was being cautious about using it on my face after reading the review that said this caused their face to break out. My face never broke out and I feel confident about using a greater amount now. I really didn't consciously pay attention to my chest until recently (late July) when I got out of the shower and took a good look....all the spots that had been on my chest were gone. I was amazed and turned up the light to look closer. My skin tone looks even and it does still has some of the regular freckles that I've had all my life, but the newly acquired bothersome spots are GONE! Now I really wish I had taken a "before" pic to compare and share the "after" but of course I didn't think to do such a thing at the time. I think the magic in this for me was using it and kinda forgetting about it and going on with life without expecting anything. A watched pot doesn't boil and if you apply this and wait in front of the mirror for it to work its magic, it's probably not going to work quick enough for you. Even though I have Amazon Prime, it did take a few more days than usual for me to receive this. It's made in Mexico and I really hope this product continues to be available. I am a believer and will continue to use it.

The past few years I've seen sun spots show up on my face. They are along the temple to the middle of the cheek area. I also had a large sun spot show up on my arm about 4 inches from my wrist. Like most men, I really don't mind the look of wear & tear on my face.. I've earned it. I have used Clinique products since high school decades ago so at one time I really cared about pampering my mug. The spots were a bit too much on my face.. I'm not an ancient mariner. I bought this about 10 days ago and was skeptical. The lotion is very thin and the scent is a bit 'old school'. I dabbed a bit onto the the general areas on my face where the dark spots have appeared. Be careful around the eyes and remember not to touch your eyes with any on your fingers or after you inadvertently touch the application area. I put more on the actual spots and then smoothed it out around the general areas since I didn't want obvious lighter areas on my dark complexion. I put some on a few spots on my hands and put a heavier dab on my large sun spot on my arm. The results after under 2 weeks are pretty amazing. The spot on my arm is 80% lighter and meshes into my normal skin tone well. I assume after more applications you won't notice this obvious dark spot at all. My face is definitely lighter and the spots are slowly fading to a less pronounced shade. My hands are a bit slower since I tend to wash them so often that I probably wash it off throughout the day. I apply at night and let dry for a while. I put enough on that you can see it slightly (especially on the spots) but after a while it will absorb. I then put it on in the morning after I put on my normal lotions. I assume most people apply this like normal moisturizer because they want to treat an entire area of discoloration; that's why the tubs are huge. I use it sparingly on my obvious dark spots and then apply a bit to the surrounding area. I am amazed by how this is working ON ME! Everyone will have different skin, habits and blemishes that they are trying to hide so it may have different results. My dark spots were strictly due to sun and aging and this lotion is working on both my arm and face areas. The price is minimal to give it a try so it's not a big loss if it irritates your skin or doesn't work on your condition. I feel a slight coolness (not painful burn) immediately after applying but it goes away very fast. Well worth a try and I am impressed with the results. I'm not a picky dude but it was time I did something to try and diminish my every growing collection of dark spots. Cheers :)
