GREAT sub, great price!
As someone who loves BASS and who would rather spend money on subs than food...these things hit hard! I watched a few you tube videos and did a lot of comparison shopping before deciding on these and I'm impressed. I bought one of these to replace an old sub that had seen too many summers in the trunk. I decided to just replace the second sub as well so I have 2 of these in a trunk. I used 2 separate sealed boxes that are 1 cubic feet. The sound is amazing, the quality is seen and heard. Shipped/received earlier than promised. Great value!!

Paired it with a power acoustik demon 4k. Wired in a series @4ohms. Running just 1200watts to this thing and it out performs most paired 12s. Its a really solid sub for the price....hits smooooooth on low notes

With this Mofo Sub woofer you will have pleasant dreams!
Finally completed the installation, after 7 months (just on weekends) of testing subs, amps, speakers, returning them adding more stuff, I have the sound system I was wishing, the subs work perfect through the six channel driver (Matrix plus, by Audio Control) to connect my three mono sub amps, I can say: mission accomplished, the Mofos sound and work perfect, they hit hard, look good and they never get hot. In the second picture, the left sub woofer was a Boss, "Phantom" but sounded horrible, like if the cone was torn or ripped so I returned it. In the third picture, the 12" single vented box never sounded good, because the box was to small, so with high volume always sounded with clipping, but in the 4th picture come on, beautiful sound, it is an: OBCON GZ Series Single 12" Dual Ported Enclosure 3/4" MDF 4.1 Cu Ft Air Space. I really recommend the mofos sub woofers, may be in the future I will get some powerful amps. and I am pretty sure they will handle the power.

does not handle the rms that it tells you it does
I bought one of these as my first sub. I powered it with a cheap boss amp and it hit fairly well. As i learned more about subs i realized that i was missing alot of beats because there was not enough power running to it. I got a real amp fosgate 1200.1 which should of still been within the acceptable rms power handleing of this sub. Long sfory short it blew within a week. Do not buy anything that isn't certified to be the actual power rateing that it is.
