Lifetime Tahoma 100 Sit-On-Top Fishing Kayak, Paddle Included

Very good price - excellent quality and weight and according to our son who we purchased this for, very comfortable. He thinks it might also be the reason he's catching larger fish - LOL!

Got this Kayak for $380 and it was well worth it for that price. Walmart usually has it for that cheap but they were out of stock so I got it here. Only downside of it was that I broke the backrest from leaning back. Replaced it with a fabric one from amazon and riveted on some loops for the seat to hook to. The plastic bottom as a seat is not comfortable for long trips as I usually go for 15-20 mile trips down rivers. It's very stable and handled Lake Superior's waves very well. It is slower than a Perception Tribe as my friends have one and when we swap the Tribe is quicker and coasts longer without paddling. So you gain stability but lose speed with this kayak. I'm 5' 8" 160lb and I use the second set of footrests. The footrests are decent size so your feet stay in place and I wear size US11 shoes. I don't use the paddle it comes with as I find it too short and I have a Carlisle Magic Mystic Kayak Paddle 240mm that really helped me go faster with less effort. I have an Arctic Zone Titan 48can Cooler that fits like a glove on the back of the kayak and two 55 liters Earth Packs where one sits behind the cooler for empty cans and one sits in the front for towels and other things. I use a 2L pack for my phone, wallet, and keys as it fits in the center under storage with ease.

I purchased these for ocean use, on beaches of cape cod. Adults and kids have used them...my kids paddle out and stand on them and jump off. Lots of hoarsing around on them and i haven't seen them flip yet. They're big enough that sometimes kids double up on them. Easy to paddle against the current. Everyone uses a life vest no matter how well they swim. One kid can drag it on the sand..2 kids can lift by handles and carry.

Love the kayak but, it did come a little beat up. Also, the Anderson company I originally ordered it from, extremely slow shipping!
