The Cabeau lives up to its promises. The straps which allow it to be fastened to the headrest make it extremely stable. From there, it's a question of the level of immobilisation you require by adjusting the fastening at the front. The pillow gives comfortable support, allowing your head to rest in any direction without causing stress or discomfort on your neck. Long haul is never that comfortable and sleep is usually fitfull and short lived, however the Cabeau served it's purpose as advertised and made the trip much easier. It packs down small in a convenient supplied bag. I would buy another if I lost this one. Best travel pillow I've used.
Review: Comfortable and Supportive, but Not Perfect - This is a well-designed travel pillow and definitely more supportive than the basic U-shaped ones. It holds your head in place nicely and makes it much easier to relax or sleep on a flight, especially when strapped to the seat. It’s comfortable and feels good quality, but it does take a bit of adjusting to get it just right, and it’s not the smallest when packed away. Once you’ve got it positioned properly though, it does its job well. Overall, a solid travel pillow and a big improvement over cheaper options — just not quite perfect.

A: Yes, the Cabeau Evolution S3 neck pillow is an improved version of the original Evolution Pillow. The S3 has a new Seat Strap System that allows you to attached the pillow to the head rest wings on an airplane seat and effectively keeps your head from falling forward or to the side. The cover is made from an upgraded quick-dry material for more breathability and improved comfort, and it now has with a zippered side pocket to old your phone or small items. Plus, the new S3 travel pillow includes a much improved travel bag with a zipper closure and plastic clip to attach it to your backpack or luggage. All this for the same $39.99 price as the original one.

**Q: Does the evolution S3 that is listed have the newer,  upgraded zipper on the storage bag or the old style zipper that everyone is complaining about?**
A: The Cabeau Evolution S3 now has an upgraded and improved zipper for its compact travel bag. The defective bags have been replaced on all Amazon units.

**Q: Does the S3 push your neck forward? I’ve used other travel pillows and they are very thick in the back area, pushing your neck and head forward...**
A: Did not push my head forward. Its very thin in the back in order to prevent that from happening. I love this neck pillow.

**Q: Can this be placed into a compression back to help save space?**
A: Yes, the Cabeau Evolution S3 can be placed in a compression bag for short periods while traveling, as long as it is not exposed to extreme heat or cold. The pillow should also not be packed in the compression bag for long-term storage (weeks, months, or years).
