Bib Tap Valve for Coca Cola Brand Bag in Box

After getting a Soda Stream Terra for Christmas I quickly discovered none of the products they sell taste like my particular addiction: Caffeine Free Diet Coke. So I decided to get the “real thing” and buy the syrup pack sold by Coca-Cola. (I planned to buy it on Amazon but was spooked by the fact that all photos showing Caffeine Free Diet Coke had the label blanked out.) I got it from another provider and with this attachment it works great. I use the standard sized soda stream bottle, filled with soda to its fill line, then add syrup until it’s near the top, and it tastes exactly like the real thing.

Works great, drip is a nice steady flow. Was a bit worried it would come out too fast with the pressure from a soda bib. No leaks works as it should. Good value for the price.

I have a Soda Stream and was tired of their lame mixes. After a trip to the local club store, I had a "bag in box" of Diet Coke and quickly realized it would be really annoying to use the spatula trick every time I wanted to get some Coke syrup. This item looks like the photo and works great on a Diet Coke box. It is longer than I expected it to be - it adds about 6.5" to the front of the box. NOTE: It will leak a little after you use it. I recommend you put some paper towels down or similar, especially if you're using sugary soda. I don't think there's a way to wash/rinse this out, either, due to the construction. Finally, it is easier to use a second bottle to hold the syrup for everyday use (rather than put soda mixture from this tap into the Soda Stream bottle). I keep my bottle of ready-to-go syrup in the fridge and refill from the box when empty.

I had been using a demitase spoon to push the little button in on the valve for the last year and finally got fed up and gave in and purchased this. It wasn't needed when my bag of Cola syrup was full and it flowed fast, but as it gets lower in volume and the pressure goes down, holding the valve in by hand for longer and longer began to be difficult. The product works as advertised. Attach to the bag-in-box, place on a counter, and fill. the Syrup still flows inda slow without a pump, but since you're not having to do anything but stand there and wait it is a vast improvement. Construction looks a little "home-made" put together with food-grade tubing and crimp bands. But it works, and is cheap, so I like it. My only complaint that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that the handle on the valve is a little small and a tad hard for bigger hands to use.

Bought a box of diet coke syrup and use it to fill soda stream. Works great. Was easy to install, no leaks or issues.

They work about as well as expected, I just wish they were drip-proof. Inside my cabinets is a mess.

Best investment for Soda Stream owners who want real syrups! Mr. Pibb, Coke, Cherry coke and as much carbonation as I want all because these little guys let me get the syrup out easy.

This thing has been a wonder - I got a sodastream and a box of diet coke syrup for Christmas and was struggling to use it before I found this. Highly recommend!
