I normally do not purchase online. I have recently purchased several items off Amazon and will be submitting reviews, as the reviews are what helped me to make my own purchases. These boots are VERY nice looking! I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. I am an average build and I did not have any problem with the calves being tight. The fur that is showing can be flipped up, but do not expect for it to stay there as the fur 'top' is actually two pieces (split) per boot and there is no way to attach them to keep them up. THESE ARE NOT FOR WIDER FEET.....I measured my chubby little paw at the widest point, all the way around, to help you decide if these boots would be for you. My chubby tootsie is 9 3/4" around (remember, measure around at the widest point of your own toots). If you are debating about these boots and you have wide tootsies, do the measurement. I figured I might be chancing it as they do not offer wider widths but I wanted to try it as I liked them so well and was really hoping they would work. Even though I have to return them, I wanted to make a review. I gave five stars as the boots were as described and pictured, the shipping was fast, and the customer service was good.

I have bigger calves and it is hard for me to find cute boots that will zip all the way. When I first received these boots and attempted to zip them up, they wouldn't. I nearly freaked out. Luckily, though, with a little oomph while zipping, they will zip all the way up. I'm still trying to stretch them out so that I don't have such a hard time with the zipping. Regardless of this minor issue... they fit!3/23/15 edit: After 2 months of wear, the part of the boots I thought would break on me (the zipper) still held on. The part that did not was the actual bottoms of the boots. They started to split and tear. For the price I paid, these boots should NOT have shown this much damage.. especially after 2 months!

Update: Edited to add that after one winter of light use (wearing to work and then changing out at work), the hard bottoms of the boots were separating from the boot body. After supergluing, I have not had an issue, but I should not have had to re-glue them at all. And now, after three years of use, the zipper teeth on one of the boots has a kink in it and I can't zip below that point anymore, and it's right at the bend, just above the ankle. So the zippers are not of a high quality either. I love the look of the boots, and the outward appearance has held up well, and they are still soft and nice on the inside, but for the price I paid, they should have been made better. Because of this, I am changing my original 5 star rating down to 3 stars.Original Post: Very soft and comfortable! They won't keep your feet warm on super cold days of extended time outside, but these are perfect for me to wear to work!

The width of the soul is for narrow foot not medium as listed. I wear size 11 medium width shoes and these boots are so narrow at the ball of the foot it's actually painful to try them on. The heal, shaft and calf of the boot are perfect and beautiful. My calf is nearly 20". I ordered size 11 extra wide calf and it fits with room to spare in the calf and length of soul. I don't think it's possible to stretch out the ball of the foot on the boot enough to make wearing them pain free so will probable return them.

I bought these for my wife because she wanted some warm boots that weren't too heavy and clunky. They look good. They are a little tight across the arch on her, but maybe with some time they will break in a little better. The one complaint she has is, they aren't as warm as they claim. She says her feet have been getting cold in 25 to 30 degree weather. Overall it's a decent boot, I just wouldn't expect it to keep you warm to the -13 that it claims.

Shipped as expected. Fully lined, very warm when I tried them on indoors during a cold spell. They are supposed to be water resistant, though I did not venture outside with them. Both front and back of the top visible faux fur portion unbuttons to stand up and add more height, which came up to just under my knee (the inside of that "flap" is the same faux leather material of the rest of the outside of the boot). The soles did not seem very flexible. I would hope for more/better tread but I will have to see how it handles. The top portion of the foot of the boot is also rather inflexible. The boots are tricky to put on as they 'slouch.' Zippers worked correctly and did not catch in the fur, but see the 'slouch' issue.The fit is quite accurate. I'm anywhere between a 6-7 (I purchased the 6 since there are no half sizes, unfortunately). I always tuck my jeans into my boots for aesthetics and snow-drip factor - it was almost too tight with the top portion of the foot of the boot being a hard, inflexible piece of material that bunched against the bottom hem of my tucked-in jeans. It was nearly impossible or very uncomfortable to point my toe outward, if I so needed/wanted to. I solved that problem by pulling my jeans up a half inch or so. They fit my feet perfectly with normal, every day socks!Note: I am sending back my first pair as the right boot was bent in the shipping box. This caused the boot to bend inwards and rub at my leg, even though my jeans. The left boot didn't do that. So far, I am having to return, refund and buy another pair instead of getting the replacement that I want. I will be contacting the seller. I wish there was a simpler way to get a replacement.NOTE ADDED 1/2/15: UNACCEPTABLE RETURNS EXPERIENCE! ZERO STARS!Document everything and beware of the label they give you to print out! They will not refund you OR assist you until you give them a mysterious "tracking number" or until they recieve the item WITH this mysterious tracking number, which is NOT on the label they give you. Use UPS/FedEx and take photos of the box and return label! I gave up on their unacceptable and unhelpful customer service, expecting to incur some $90 loss! I recieved my full refund two months after (just a few days ago) from AMAZON, not this "Comfy Moda." I shipped from Washington State to California where the provided shipping label gave me the name of some other company (not "Comfy Moda"). I would strongly suggest any costumers to view "Comfy Moda's" seller profile here on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=0&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=114-1548639-5889013&seller=AF4RIZ160LQ0) and look at all the low-star ratings on the right of the page so you are aware.

Didn't whole out hope! Not for something, that I didn't try on first. But, I was very surprised. No trouble putting them on. It was great that they had the sizing chart in the photos of the boots. Take a size 8, but took the sizing chart size for the calf size 9. That's how I decided on the size for me, and I was right on. Beautiful boot look, design and comfort. They are like two boots in one. You can wear with fur or pulled up making a longer boot with fur inside. I have tiny feet and big calves. It is like my feet don't belong to these legs. So I was surprised when they came and were the perfect fit. I can use the inside zipper; or, just slip them on. Can't believe that I can just slip them on. Finally have a boot after all these years. Since I was a kid. Great product! Would have sent a picture but they are going right under the Christmas Tree!

Nice boots. I went by the sizing chart and description of 16" diameter and they would not zip up. The opening inside is about 14" in diameter at the top. This was for the size 8.*update. I reordered in the extra wide calf size. They fit great other than a bit baggy around the ankle but I don't think I've ever tried on a wide calf boot that wasn't. So just to be clear if you need a 16" around the calf or more, order extra wide calf - not the "regular" wide calf.

Only positive on this product is that it arrived on time in the winter. Its price was not equivalent to its quality and durabilty. After wearing for less than a full Canadien winter these boots wore out into a large hole in the right sole! Because of this poor pricing and quality, I would never purchase clothes or footwear again on Amazon.ca even as a practical gift for my own mother as was this case!

She has no problem with it and I gave this to her last year as a gift. It is still wearable and good to look at according to mum.

Do not buy these are not even a little bit waterproof:/ it’s November it’s not even cold yet, but know what makes your feet really cold? BEING SOAKING WET. It’s not even heavy wet snow, these things just suck.
