## Overview

The ARCTIC P12 PWM PST is a 120mm PC case fan engineered for high static pressure and whisper-quiet operation. Featuring PWM Sharing Technology, it allows multiple fans to be controlled via a single header, optimizing airflow between 200 and 1800 RPM. With a focused airstream design delivering 56.3 CFM and a noise level as low as 0.3 Sone, it balances powerful cooling with minimal sound. Its advanced motor runs cooler, extending lifespan up to four times longer than standard fans, making it a durable, energy-efficient choice for professional-grade PC builds.

## Description

Product Description Optimised for Static Pressure During the development of the new P12 PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan assures extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P12 PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. Extended Life Span A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan. The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. 200 to 1800 rpm (0 rpm <5 %) regulated via PWM PST With a wide range of regulation and the PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the P12 PWM PST fan speed can be controlled synchronously with all your other fans together. This keeps noise at a minimum while guaranteeing maximum cooling performance when needed. High Quality Bearing Thanks to an alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. As a result, there is less heat development as well as less bearing noise, which means you can enjoy a longer service life from your fan. General data Performance Fan Speed: 200-1800 rpm PWM Controlled (0 rpm below 5 % PWM) Airflow: 56.30 cfm | 95.70 m³/h Static Pressure: 2.20 mmH₂O Noise Level: 0.3 Sone Operating Ambient Temperature: 0-40 °C Fan Fan Frame: Standard Control Type: PWM PST Connector: 4-Pin-Connector + 4-Pin-Socket Fan Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing Electric Characteristics Typical Voltage: 12 V DC Starting Voltage: 3.9 V Current | Voltage: 0.1 A | 12 V DC Cable Length: 400 mm Size & Weight Length: 120 mm Width: 120 mm Height: 25 mm Weight: 145 g

Review: P12 bargain radiator fan, no compromise on performance! - Nothing to dislike about these fans from arctic Minimalistic black styling, great performance, especially for radiators as the fan shroud completely contains the fan blades with minimal gap to the edge and once screwed to the radiator there’s a good seal so not much air can escape, it will just get forced through the radiator. Nice and quiet fans and can spin up to 1800rpm for more performance if needed. And the price is really competitive, the 5 pack is the best value, and the PST (power sharing tech) versions are a great idea, no need for splitter cables, the fans will just daisy chain together.
Review: Decent fans, especially for the price - These are great fans for the price. Good airflow/ pressure, very little noise, vibration or coil whine (they're stepping an Noctua' s toes). The port sharing tech is very handy (multiple fans off a single header, you can even run non-PWM fans off these and both will have their speeds controlled via PWM). As for performance: They're powerful enough to move air through a filter at 500rpm, most people wouldn't be able to hear these at 1000-1200rpm. Very quiet & unobtrusive up to 1500-1600rpm where the only sound is the air moving (they do move a good amount of air), past that point they become noticeably louder and you can start to hear the fan's motor, still better than most. I deducted a star for mounting as they don't come with rubber mounts.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: If i bought the 5 pack of the pwm psts would i be able to daisy chain them all together and plug them in to a single header?**
A: Yes, provided the header on your motherboard has enough power output. I have managed to connect a maximum of 3 daisy-
chained and speed controlled from BIOS.

**Q: Is there a specific Pa, or MMh20 value?**
A: Hello,
please take the values from the technical data of the P12 series .
Greeting Carsten
Service

**Q: Does this come with a fan splitter cable(s)?**
A: It comes with an already fitted daisy chain cable (two plugs) so that more than one fan can daisy chained (parallel) fed from one motherboard connector) Normally a maximum of three fans. depending on motherboard fan connector outlet power.

**Q: Ok would that lead 3pin go into my fan hub and avle me to plg the 4 pin end into motherboard?**
A: As far as I remember, it connected to the main power supply cables, not directly to the mother board. I can't check as it was in somebody else's computer, sorry.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value and good chaining system
*by M***O on 8 June 2020*

These are really good value. Very basic looking but get the job done cheaply and quietly. The fact that you can chain them together and even chain another 3rd party fan on the end is brilliant. Cut down on my cabling as I no longer needed a splitter. Just attach the first one to the motherboard chassis fan plug and away you go with the rest. They dont seem to move lot of air but its enough for my case as I am using them to exhaust hot air out of the Sharkon QB One ITX case. I have noticed that alt lower RPM (under 60%) the 2 fans next to each other seem to resonate and create a droning noise. I have ordered rubber mounts to see if that stops the resonating.
