A Turkey Shoot
Got this pair of turkeys to augment the six racing penguins in a set of Christmas crackers to add to the general chaos of post-Christmas dinner silliness.This daft looking pair are each about the size of a tennis ball, wind up at the side and their clockwork feet take them pottering along (not always in a straight line) along the race track in a race with the penguins - but it would be easy enough to make them their own track from a piece of cardboard box, and competing with other clockwork creatures available on Amazon - there's loads.These don't go very far.... fully wound, they scuttle along drunkenly for about 12" - 18" before running out of steam.I had hoped, being a bit bigger, they'd have a bit more about them. I'm tempted to buy the Grandma & Grandpa racing figures and give the turkeys a head start.. see if the Gramps can catch them up on their Zimmer frames.The possibilities are endless.
