Glass Septum Pincher: 12g Black, 3/8" Diameter

I love gorilla glass jewelry for the fact that it is well made and always worth the money. The glass is really great for my septum as it tends to get irritated with acrylics and stainless steels. The only downside for me is that it doesn’t stick out as far from my nostrils as I’d like. I wish they’d make more styles and lengths in the glass pinchers. It’s a bit discreet, but still very nice looking. The notch at the top of these pinchers is THE BEST, I never have to wear o-rings. I’ll always use this brand for stretching as it heals quickly. I bought the 4G 3/4 diameter.

This is such a beautifully made piece of jewelry. I love black glass and I dislike pinchers with o-rings (there's not a very large selection of notched pinchers out there surprisingly) so this caught my eye right away. Unfortunately, it's sooo small - appearance and fit-wise. I even went up a size, knowing that the wearing surface of the notch is typically a little smaller than the gauge states. The first time I blew my nose, it flew right out, lol. So now I have to remove it beforehand so I don't lose it. For the same reason, I need to remove it before I wash my face as well. I constantly check to make sure it's still there as it rotates often because of the loose fit, and I've woken up a few times to it hanging on for dear life.I'm a 10g and ordered an 8 but I probably should have gone with a 6, possibly even a 4g. I checked it with calipers and the wearing surface is between a 10 and 8 and the flares are a just smidge larger than an 8. Also, my piercing is placed relatively high, so you can just barely see a little something hanging down when you look closely. I wish it was more noticeable because it really is a gorgeous piece that I would wear all the time if didn't always worry about it falling out. Maybe I'll give it another shot down the line and try a 6 or 4.

Hey man, I like it. It obviously doesn't look like the way its adverstized, all thick and small...but trust u me...its a 10g(er). Its legit.

I have ordered plugs from this distributor in the past and have always been pleased. Sadly, this time I probably should have read the reviews. It is a great piece but it is far too small. The 8g fits like a 10g. For anyone buying this, go at least one size up.

I’ve been at 10g for years and I see a lot of people saying that you should get a size or two bigger. I got both an 8g and a 6g. The 8 fits perfectly fine but the 6 would def be a bit of a stretch for me. I love the size of it and it is very comfortable. I plan on going to a 4g with these pinchers.

The sizing of the notch is smaller than the 6g I ordered, so that means the ring will slip out. If you go up a gauge then the flare is too large. It looks great, I just wish someone would make a ring like this that is true to size at the saddle.

I would love to rate this product 5 stars but as soon as I took it out of the box and put it into my nose it shattered. They do not provide O rings so it doesn't slip out and without those, your pincer is going to slip out and break. It is a cute little glass piece though and arrived quickly. Wish I could've worn it for longer than 5 minutes though. Sad.
