This is a very nice looking vest, and the quality is extremely good. I have an athletic build. My chest is 46 and waist is 35. I purchased this vest in a size Large after having read a number of reviews stating the vest runs true to size, hoping that it might fit. While the waist fits perfectly, the area across the chest is snug. There is no elasticity in the vest. I was able to button all buttons, but believe that one size larger would be a better fit for my build. I am returning the vest in size Large, and already placed an order for the same vest in size X-Large.
