STANLEY FATMAX Tape Measure, 35-Foot (33-735)

You cannot go wrong with the Stanley fatmax it makes reading a tape measure much easier due to it being a little wider and bigger marks. A must have for construction or any home improvement enthusiasts. They really last a long time too they don’t break easily as long as your not being extremely rough on it your tape will hold up for years. In my opinion the 35 footer is the best option its has a little extra weight on it but for what I do it’s nice only having to measure once instead of having to measure twice and calculate the distance to find my center point. Nice sleek design that has a clip for hooking up too your tool belt. The hold tape button is smooth doesn’t ever get stiff or try to lock up on you. All and all I would recommend these for sure.

Super sturdy and excellent quality tape measure for home and commercial use. Using this tape measure to help reconfigure our home to meet changes in lifestyle and this tape measure has been more than helpful. I have another one, but the tape is so flimsey that it often requires more than one person just to take a measurement. This one works great with a single person usage. Would buy again.

I purchased this to replace my Husbands old tape measure, the same exact one. It lasted him so many years. I bought him a new one not because the old one stopped working but because we are always looking for it. This is the best tape measure, very heavy duty. We use it for many of our home improvement projects. I know we will get many years of use out of this

I am not a contractor or professional builder, have always done my own remodeling and basic wood working projects. After I retired we decided to build a large home that would be our dream home and a source of income as a Bed and Breakfast. I knew this project would take 12-18 months and I already had most of the needed tools. Several months into the job and seveal tapes later I was looking for a durable tape, my biggest issue is the wind blowing the tape as I tried to stretch it out for a measurement. Building alone, I became very frustrated as most tapes were blown over/away from the intended anchor point. Despite the size, it really fits the bill and has helped the frustration meter go way down. I only gave it 4 vs 5 stars as occasionally the tab on the end slips off the end of the board as you pull out to length. Thanks Amazon for good prices and quick, fair shipping with Prime.

It’s very tough

As a independent Contractor ,now disabled but still able to do some work . I always have been someone who is happy working alone! The Stanley 35 ft. 1-1/4 wide blade is a perfect measuring device when trying to get accurate measurements and precision confident cutting and layout. I WAS AND AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE SUCH A GOOD PRODUCT @ A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. It is very difficult to find a tape measure this long , wide and of such good quality let alone for this price. I have gotten good use with it at home Already and after 2.5 years of recovery from pneumonia, and 3 weeks in an induced coma on Life support I am anxious to get back to what I have done since coming home in 1979 from overseas ! I have always been a big fan of Stanley tools and still have some I used building many homes through the early 80,s when the first building boom I had experienced occurred.I have not found better Tapes , Utility Knives , Snips and many other well crafted and affordable Stanley Tools . Thanks for another great product that makes my life , career and hobbies easy and enjoyable . A good tool makes for a happy Life!!!

This tape measure is awesome, and you can’t go wrong with this Stanley Fat Max, because it does what it says it will do. Tape lock works great as well as the tapes ability to stretch out to 10’ or more before breaking over. The recoil works so well that it will pinch a blood blister on your finger if you’re not careful. lol. Better just get you one ordered!

Arrived on time. 23yrs in trades & I've yet to come across a better tape measure for construction. They just outlast every other brand. 5⭐️ I'm not talking about weekend renovations or part time in the back yard work. I'm talking heavy duty construction site work. It outlasts the competition everytime. Great tool. 👍

I always like the stanley 25 foot tapes with the blade armor and the 11 foot standout, this is the first 35 foot tape I bought. I found this tape to be a little more useful than the 25 foot tape especially when measuring roofs and wall sections. The tape reels out smooth and actually out to the 35 foot mark, unlike some others that short you a foot or two. I found that it retracts just as smooth. However I did find that the tape I got fetches up at around the 6 to 4 foot mark when it retracts by jambing up in the side of the casing. This I understand is not the usual case from talking to others with this tape.

Still the best tape going for framers but they don’t make them as good as they used to.
