Installed these in an imac (21.5-inch, 2017) model identifier: imac18,1 and they didn’t work (black screen) can you tell me which chips will work?

saved me a small fortune!!!

Saved me $4,000!!!! What a difference this made! I have a 2017 27" 5K Mac it had 8gb of ram and was a doggg! I love the giant display that would cost me a fortune to replace. I added this 16gb to it and now everything loads super fast... google chrome, adobe suite, etc..... Thinking of adding another one just for poops and giggles because it made such a big difference. So happy I did this instead of a new computer!!!

Functions well but costs a lot to install

If I'd known what a bear is was to install this in a 2017 small iMac, I might have passed. I had to pay a hundred bucks over my mac guy's estimate to compensate him for the extra time. But that's the fault of Apple's design.

Funciona perfecto

Necesitaba darle un nuevo empujón a mi iMac. Apenas recibí mi pedido agregué por primera vez una RAM a un equipo de Apple. No me funcionó, la pantalla se quedaba en negro. Volví a instalar de nuevo y ahora sí funcionó perfecto al poner primero la de 8GB y luego las 2 de 4GB.

installation was simple and quick!

Upgraded the memory in my iMac 2017. Just had to disconnect the power cable, push a release button to open the slot and install the memory. Booted up right away with no issues.

Compre 2 de 8gb c/u y ESTROPERON mi iMac ...al día de hoy jamas volvió a prender y sigue en servicio. Por desgracia sali de la ciudad al siguiente día y no tuve el tiempo de regresarlo por mi dinero (y venció el periodo) ... pésima experiencia, no lo compren!!! … no comprendo como Amazon sigue teniéndolo en catálogo YO PERDÍ MÁS DE 2MIL DOLARES en equipo por este pésimo proveedor acabo de visitar la página y veo que sigue ofreciéndola .
