Much better chew than the Greenies we used to buy.
MY 12 pound dog love these treats every chew like it owes her money, so the bar was low: would she eat it, and would it do anything about the truly offensive dog breath. Yes and yes. We were on Greenies for years. The thing I noticed almost right away is that these are little less firm but does a much better job. With the Greenies she'd basically inhale them, one gulp and gone, which always made me wonder what the point was. These she actually has to chew. She works at one for a while and you can hear it, this steady crunching from across the room. Her breath went from "please get away from me" to genuinely fine. Not minty-fake fine. Just not a problem anymore. One thing to flag if you're shopping: the Extra Small is rated for 3.5 to 9 pounds. Moxie's 12. She's technically a size up, the 10-24 pound bag, and the XS still works for her, but check the weight chart before you assume your dog's an XS. They also cost more than the Greenies did, and I'll admit that stung a little at checkout. The pouch reseals and they've stayed fresh with no drying out, which matters since we only do one a day and a bag lasts about a month. She likes them. Her teeth look cleaner. I'm buying them again. The price is the only thing keeping this from five stars.

The dental chews are a little hard to cut
These are little hard to cut but other than that, they are great. My dog loves them we tried toothpaste at first and he did not like that, but he loves these chews. I highly recommend them

Help keep teeth cleaner between cleanings
These are expensive but help with littles who fight me on brushing their teeth between cleanings. The pups like them and help keep the plaque down

Get them and put on subscribe and save
Holy smokes! My dog wants this over any other dog “treat”. She absolutely loves them. These came as a recommendation from our super trusted veterinarian. Go ahead and put these on subscribe and save and get the better deal for it! My dog would be super unhappy with dirty teeth and so would we and having to smell bad dog breath. These chews work and are wanted daily by my dog. These apparently have a great taste and offer the right amount of “chew” to get their teeth clean.

Jury's still out on these ones....
I have two Yorkies, a 5 pounder and a 3 pounder. Several years ago, I had them put under for teeth cleaning. The stress from the procedure caused them to develop HGE which resulted in a hefty emergency vet bill. Needless to say, we haven't had their teeth cleaned since. We've tried several products, each of which has been an epic fail. As of now, I'm putting this on the list of failures, but I will report back when the bag is out with an update on the quality of my dogs' (or as you'll read in a second, dog's) teeth. First, as many reviewers have shared, these treats are hard. I cannot attest to whether or not they're supposed to be hard, because I've never purchased them elsewhere. I do appreciate that they're United States made, and that they have a contact number on the back. The treats have a nice minty vanilla aroma to them, although my fiance felt the smell was chemically. My biggest beef with these treats is the safety issue. Day 1 of giving my bigger dog the treats, I let him have it on his own. I watched him take the treat, go into corner and eventually, while moving it side to side, rearrange it parallel with his mouth. Not at all confident with my doggie first aide skills, I insisted on holding onto the treat the entire time. Yes, I laid on the floor like an idiot holding a treat in each hand the entire time. (Why can't they make these more like a Safety Pop? 🤔) Now, both dogs liked the treat at first. It was quite messy and resulted in green sticky mustaches, but that wasn't a huge deal. The following day, the bigger dog's poop was seafoam green. I wasn't concerned, because his stomach seemed okay. The smaller dog didn't seem to have stomach problems either, but is now refusing the treats. We find she does this when something upsets her stomach. So again, I'll report back at the end of June. If my bigger dog's teeth are cleaner, I'll rank this up a star. If not, it's staying put. The choking hazard thing is just too much of an issue to ever make it 5 stars.

I say dental time and she comes running!
My dog has been on this a bit. She just got her yearly check up and her back molders are beautiful! The vet highly recommended we keep her on this. She’s now 3.5 lbs, as a grown adult. I’ve tried it all that she could have. This one did help! And no belly aches or worse. She loves the taste! It’s sticky so we put a towel down for her. The size is small but the right size for her. For the price it’s a bit higher than most. Yet, you’re getting a quality product.
