I have to admit I was a bit skeptical seeing some of the more negative reviews, and I'll change my review in a month (1/17/26) if I stop seeing how great it is, but I love it! It feels like chapstick and gives my lips the light tint I crave. I am someone that loves to apply lip balm, so if it wears off quickly I wouldn't know it. It is definitely moisturizing and great color quality. Speaking for the pink one.

I absolutely love the Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheeks Stain. I’ve never had a lip color feel so luxurious while also looking so effortlessly pretty. This lip stain does stain pretty well..on me it last about 3 to 4 hrs. Furthermore it is pretty moisturizing which is a bonus. Those are the pros about it. I knocked off two Stars due to the following... I have to apply several layers to get a darker color and the color is not red at all...it is more orange or coral. I was hoping it would be more of a reddish tint. I have attached pictures so that you can see the color of it when applied. The stick part got stuck to the cap the first day...but I just put it back in... however, for $25 I would expect it to be a little better made. Given that I have 5 dollar ones that have never done that. Additionally...for the price it seems a bit steep for the size and above mentioned quality. But, I am not saying that it is horrible...which is why I gave it three stars... it is a pretty nice stain... but truth be told, I think revlon's lip stains are just as good and three times cheaper. The only reason I tried this one was because I was hoping to find one that actually came out red.

Gorgeous color and formula. I was introduced to Jane Iredale when I worked for a plastic surgeon who sold her products in his office. I tried this lip stain back in the early 2010’s and fell in love when there was only 1 color. I have not used it in years but bought recently and it is still very well formulated. The color is buildable on lips for me. Would love to get the other colors but the price feels high to splurge on more than one right now. It lasts a long time and the packaging is sturdy and feels good in my hand.
