Regatta Men's Salinger Waterproof & Breathable Thermo-Guard Insulated Winter Parka Jacket Waterproof

I got this coat for my husband to replace his current winter jacket. We wanted a waterproof and warm coat that is not too heavy (which his current jacket is). Delivery was fast and arrived in time for a chilly bonfires night. My husband said it's so much more comfortable than his other coat but surprisingly just as warm. Only been out in light rain so far and kept him dry. Fit was fine (size 38 inch chest, we got the S). Very nice product.

My husband was looking for a replacement winter jacket, as the one he had before was stylish but not very warm. I first saw this style from different retailer and checked good old Amazon to see if I could find it cheaper here. It was indeed half price here compared to a high street store, and even cheaper than on the Regatta own website. So I ordered it right away. It arrived quickly and in good order (no buttons falling off or undone seams, like some other reviews warned).My husband is slender and the size S fits him just ok, borderline big. He decided to keep it though, as the temperatures outside were dropping. The jacket is fluffy and really lightweight, however it turned out not to be much warmer than the previous one he had... so not sure how this ended up being ranked #1 in Sky jackets?... I guess maybe my husband feels the cold more than most?... or maybe the quality of the jackets sold on Amazon is somehow not on par with the same style sold at higher price elsewhere?... I don’t know, nevertheless for the price we paid he decided to keep it and just wears a scarf to close the gap around his neck.

I purchased this coat because of the positive reviews regarding its warmth. Well, it arrived a few days ago and I wore it today in a perfect example of a cold but dry British Winter day. The coat was not as warm as I expected. It was not as warm, perhaps, as some, more padded, coats which may of course be due to its very light-weight construction. I have not tested its waterproofing, as it has yet to rain. But, when it does, I will report back if it fails to meet expectations. It is a good fit for me, being of smaller stature, I purchased the Small. The hood, as previously noted by another reviewer, is quite deep. It is deep enough to obstruct the wearer’s view. I suspect this will be helped somewhat if the fur trim is detached. I have not done so yet as I have only worn the coat once. I examined the coat and saw no signs of loose threads or anything else that raised concern. In sum, the coat appears to be good value at the price I paid.A quick note about delivery. It was exceptionally fast… less than twenty-four hours on standard free delivery. Kudos!

Arrived early, excellent jacket. warm and lightweight. It is a cheery colour. It is roomy and has plenty of pockets. Highly recommend.

I like the fit and its warmth but zips need extenders for gloved hands. I added my own (see picture).Update: This coat is not even showerproof. Twice now it has got me drenched and cold once in a snow storm and again in the rain. Even the pockets filled with a 1/4 inch of water turning my bus ticket to papiermachet. It is supposed to to be breathable waterproof ... its even in the advert title but it isn't. I have now asked for a return! 😲

My son was impressed with this coat and he is fussy. Very happy with the length, I bought size M as he is 6"2 but skinny. The overall quality of the coat was excellent and my son said it kept him lovely and warm in fact too warm. I chose the olive colour and pleasantly surprised at how well it blended, not an awful shade at all. Very impressed with this coat and its pockets both inside and out.

This is a really nice jacket.Lightweight but very warm.I bought this to replace a previous Regatta jacket that the zips had all broken-and I'm finding that the zips on this jacket are a problem.They keep getting trapped in the material of the coat and it is very annoying trying to free the zip.It's a real shame because other than the problem zips I really like this jacket!

Great quality and warm without being too bulky, it has a lightweight insulation layer that keeps heat in. Another plus point is that this jacket is fully waterproof so it will keep you dry in the rain. The furry hood is also removable if needed.
