Eldnacele White Flameless Pillar Candles Battery Operated with 8 Hour Timer

Wonderful lighting but great for blackouts they light up the house.

We both enjoy candlelight; however, we don't enjoy the smoke that some of them tend to put out. A friend of ours introduced us to flameless candles from Pottery Barn. I purchased 5 for a total of $200 -- and they don't have a wick that lights up nor do they have the wonderful capability of being turned on and off remotely. I decided I wanted to get more for the coffee table and the dining room table. I checked on Pottery Barn and they are just as expensive as they were a year or so ago. I decided to check on Amazon and, after reading ALL of the flameless candle offerings, settled on these. I'm so glad I did. First, the price point is infinitely lower! Second, my husband says they were easy to install the AA batteries in. Third, the remote controller works perfectly -- and it is SO much easier that individually turning every candle on and off. Plus, each grouping only turns on and off when you point the controller at it. That is quite brilliant because sometimes we want the candles on in one area and not another. Fourth, we set ours to flicker and they look just wonderful. Admittedly, they are not a real candle; however, we appreciate the trade-offs -- and are quite happy with them. So happy in fact that I ordered two more sets this evening.

Bought these candles to decorate for the holidays and I must say they are very nice. I've only been using them for a few days and so far they have a nice bright glow and realistic flicker. The only negative is that they don't have a remote to turn on and off and so you have to turn each one on individually, but for the price I can understand. They do however have a timer they can run on (I believe it's 8 hrs).

Overall these candles are great! I was looking for flameless candles that could be viewed up close and looked real, unlike the flickering flame candles that look great from a distance but close up you can see the artificial flame. These candles are almost perfect for what I was looking for. The fiber optic wick glows very well but was a bit bright at the tip for my liking, however after dabbing a very small amount of real candle wax to the tip they are perfect! The additional wax also gave the wick a slight ash effect which added to the realistic quality of the candles. I love the timer option and use it on a daily basis. I gave the remote feature 4 stars instead of 5 because the the candles respond to a remote that is used for something else, which is slightly irritating because I have to reset the timer on the candles when I use the other remote. Despite the remote issue, I do love these candles and have ordered another set!

These are very realistic with "natural" wick! They are wax coated to enhance the realistic look. I would definitely buy again!

I've been looking for flameless candles and these have disappointed me twice. First set was purchased in November 2022 for the holidays. The quality is decent. At most angles with the lights on, the inner wiring is visible, so I displayed them (on shelves) the best I could to hide them. They all worked pretty well until December when two of the shorter candles stopped responding to the remote. I could turn them on manually, but they'd be stuck at one level of lighting and only flickered (no steady light). I was too busy to return them, so I just dealt with it. Most of them don't respond to the remote now. I just ordered a new set a couple days ago (April 2023). Right out of the box, most of them don't respond to the remote, which is right beside them... One even stopped responding while I was testing them. Not buying these candles again.

The candles all work perfectly fine when manually turned on. Using the remote only five of the six candles will work with the remote. Love the look of the candle and the style of them it's perfect, the only bad part is the remote isn't 100%.

These are the best battery-powered flameless candles that I've ever purchased. The flame is very realistic with a small black wick showing under the flame as if to appear that it had been burned like a real candle. They come with a remote so you can change modes to simulate flickering wick, bright or dim to change the ambiance and the remote also has timers so they will turn off, saving battery life, if you happen to fall asleep while enjoying them. Great packaging with foam to protect the wick and flame from damage in shipping and storage. The height including flame is 4.5" and diameter is 2". I like pillar candles to be larger but I was so excited about their realistic appearance that I forgot to check their dimensions. I'll buy more if I find larger ones. Great for year round use.

I love these candles. They have a lovely glow and I really like the look of the real wick and wax (when they turned off they look just like real candles). The timer works perfectly (if not for the timer they would probably not get turned on). Now they come on every night at the same time and run for 6 hrs then turn off. Just perfect

I use these candles daily in the evening. Provide a nice ambiance for relaxing.
