It works!
I knew that an aftermarket product was a gamble, but it worked just fine. I'm very happy with this purchase over the original for at least 5x the money. The only expectation I had that I was incorrect about was that I assumed I could remove the plug component and use my original extension power cable to lengthen the reach of the charger but the prongs are not removable like on the original charger. Its not even a disappointment considering the savings, but worth mentioning in case its important to someone else.

Saved a college girl’s life
Let me set the scene for you. I’m a college student who never saves her assignments to anything other than her laptop. My laptop was dead and I had some assignments due. It was Wednesday, my assignments were due Thursday night. All very normal right? Well then tragedy struck. I broke my laptop charger. Just straight up shattered the thing. I was screwed. This was the end. Goodbye college hello living on the streets. Ok I’m exaggerating but still it was very stressful. So I ordered this charger Wednesday night and was told it would be there Friday. Then. Miracles of miracles, life is good, God is real, this charger came on Thursday! I was able to charge up my laptop get my assignments turned in a few minutes before midnight as usual and sleep easy knowing I now have a charger that isn’t broken and works well!!! The charger really works
I bought this charger with hopes it would the same to the original and it does. It is even better. the charger is lighter and chargers quicker. I highly recommend this charger for mac book laptops that need the L tip charger. I saved a lot of money instead of buying the charger from a retail store for $70. plus taxes in CA. The pictures attach to this review display the L tip connected and charging. The other picture shows the charger connected to the wall and connected to my lap top. if you are looking for a L tip charger I highly recommend this one

Money Saver! (Don’t pay $80 for Apple’s Charger! Apple’s is practically disposable quality anyway)
This little guy will save you up to $65 and it works perfectly. Please keep in mind that it does not have an extension cord adapter. However, for less than 1/4 the price of what Apple wants to charge for their brand name cord ( that you’ll probably have to replace in a year anyway...) this NEWBEING 60 W Compatible Charger is a fine alternative even without the extension cord adapter. I highly recommend!

Doesn’t really work
I should have known the price was too good to be true. It charges very slowly only if your computer is shut. If you are using your computer while it is charging, your battery will still drain. I had it plugged in the whole time while video chatting for 3 hours (my computer was fully charged when I started) and my computer died

A simple and affordable solution to replacing a worn out (or lost) Apple charger. (or back up)
I use for my Macbook and its great to have as a back up and for travel. (Great replacement for the overpriced Apple plug too). Fast delivery and friendly customer service. The end that plugs into computer is practically indistinguishable from the original. My laptop recognizes it. Same robust chord. Same amber and green light on MagSafe connector. So far so good. Would buy again.
