I use it like I would a throat lozenge. Just let it dissolve on your tongue or anywhere you are suffering a sore in your mouth. I find they stop the progression of the sores and shorten the life of the sores

Can 5 year old kid use this product

I can’t imagine it would be harmful. But it might not be helpful: the lozenge has to be kept in place over the area of concern until it dissolves. This can take 30 minutes if done passively, and it won’t help if it’s chewed. If your 5-year-old can handle that, then go for it!
