I like it. It's a great budget option. I have some difficulty reading text though. I use it both for school and gaming. Works fine for most cases.

What type of panel is this? also does it have a vesa mount capability?

The monitor has the vesa mount standard 75x75mm. You can take this mount > http://topreviews24.com/monitor-wall-mount/mounting-dream-md2463/ < I'm very happy with it.

I have a laptop that can run over 200 FPS on 60hz. I was wondering if this monitor can run 144hz with a hdmi cable

Well, 200 fps at 60hz doesn't mean anything. You won't notice any difference until your monitor can keep up with the frames per second. Otherwise ur just wasting 140 fps that may cause ghosting.

Is it height adjustable?

The stand it comes with doesn't allow height adjustments. But since it's VESA compatible, you could attach it to any monitor stand/arm that's VESA compatible.
