I'm pretty particular about the salt amount on my seeds, and these hit the perfect balance. They are definitely satisfyingly salty, but not too salty where they end up burning your mouth after a handful. The cracked pepper flavor adds just the right amount of kick. As for the odor, there isn't any weird or overpowering smell at all. When you open the bag, they just smell like regular, fresh sunflower seeds, which is exactly what you want. The best flavored sunflower seeds!

When these sunflower seeds are good, they are very good, but when they are bad, they are very bad. Bad is when they have that very stale taste, although they have a good snap and are not really stale. I don’t know why some of these taste and smell terrible, so much that I’ve had to throw some away. The reason I began buying these from Amazon was because the ones in the stores were stale almost every time I bought them. Now, these are becoming that way. I don’t want to give up my sunflower seed vice, but sometimes these things are just horrible.
