Best media for cleaning brass
When it comes to quickly cleaning brass this is the best media I have ever used. It cleaned 2000 rounds of 9mm in under two hours. However, longer is NOT better. I let it run for eight hours on 400 rounds of 45 ACP and it burnished the brass. I knew I had tumbled it too long as soon as I opened the tumbler. There was a yellowish tint to the suds from the Dawn dishwashing soap. I had to dry it then put it in the vibrating tumbler for 4 hours to polish it back. If I just let it tumble for an hour or so I do not need to use the vibrator polisher.Just remember, you must use a rotating tumbler to use this media. It will not work in a vibratory tumbler.

not getting full size lemi shine in the deal
The product was actually sent exactly as described but I feel a little deceived about it. All the pictures of the lemi shine you see on Amazon are a 12.5 oz bottle that sells its self for about $9. Because these pins are about $9 more expensive than the competition you might let yourself think that you are getting the full size lemi shine in the deal. You aren't. You are getting a little sample size so just pay attention to the fine print.

IS YOUR WATER STILL BLACK?
They clean well as long as you completely get rid of that greasy factory grime thats on them.Hard as hell to clean the factory grime off them using water and soap alone. Wash over four times with soap and still had black water. Finally had to use some mineral spirits to get rid of it.Next time I order more, I'm gonna slosh them around in gasoline or kerosine to get rid of that greasy crud then wash them in soap and water. ALSO DON'T TUMBLE WITH ANY CHEMICAL PRODUCT I MENTIONED IT WILL CAUSE YOUR RUBBER GASKETS TO SWELL.

Great for leaning brass
I use these in a Tumler Modsl B wet tumbler to clean brass casings for reloading and the results are spectacular. I initially used the smaller size and would find a few cases in each batch with two pins stuck side-by-sidd in the flash hole. I do not have this problem with the larger pins. I do strongly recommend getting a magnet with a release to gather these up. The small 8 lb one on Amazon works well and is dirt cheap.

Excellent tumblin media
This stuff is top notch that lasts a lifetime. My brass came out blindingly shiny after tumblin for 3 hours with a table spoon of dish soap and a dash of lemi shine. Gets the insides and out. PS try not to eat the lemi shine. It smells like beer salt and is hard to resist.
