Hello Marianne, thanks for reaching out. Our Whiteboard sheets use static electricity to stick but are not themselves magnetic. The static charged stick feels similar to a magnetic cling but magnets will not hold to the sheet themselves unless the sheet is placed on a metal surface. As an alternative to magnets, check out our static charged sticky Notes. Instead of using a magnet to stick a note onto the surface, you can write your note directly on this sticky and move it around the sheet in the same way you would slide a magnet.
