This is a really cool sidewalk chalk holder for kids! This allows them to stand and draw. Holds the chalk really well but still allows you to change the color as needed. Smaller kids would need help changing the chalk out, but older kids could do it independently. You may actually want more than one because this is an item that all kids will want to borrow!

I’d give this Walkie Chalk 100 stars if I could. I am paralyzed and have a 5 year old niece who has been asking me to draw on the sidewalk with chalk the last few years and always had to turn her down and watch her because I cannot reach the ground. My dad suggested I look for a big stick that would hold chalk online and low behold Amazon had kids Walkie Chalk show up in my first search and immediate bought it! Worked like a charm and I was able to draw my niece a 28 square hop scotch. 😊 I was so pleased with this I posted this on a spinal cord FB group and more are going to purchase it and make memories with their kiddos. This would also be great for people with other mobility issues getting up and down from the ground. It’ll be perfect for them. Grandmas and grandpas can join in on the fun too!! Thank you for creating this so I can create fun things and memories with her.

It’s pretty awesome. So I bought my kid a power wheels vehicle and wanted to make him a chalk “track” in the street to drive in. First time I used chalk and bent over to make the track. It practically killed my back. Lol. I thought there has to be a better way. That’s when I found this item. It actually works. No more bending over breaking my back to draw large tracks on the street in chalk anymore. Saved my back and was much faster. Only 4 stars since the plastic is a bit weak and slightly cracked when assembling the pieces together. It still works though. I would recommend slightly stronger/stiffer plastic to make it more durable. It does bend a bit if pressing hard. Overall, it’s pretty cool and works as intended. I would buy again and would recommend. Just don’t try to insert the pieces together too tight when connecting the pieces to avoid accidentally cracking the plastic. 4.5/5 stars. 😉 If it ends up breaking, I might just buy a piece of PVC and make my own. But so far this is holding up. Edit- this only holds a specific size diameter chalk. Won’t hold $1 Tree chalk. Difficult to find the chalk which works in this unit. Styrofoam did stretch making this inoperable after 3 uses. Pretty much garbage now.

Probably a nice product for kids. For me at 5'7" , it didn't have the force I needed to chalk.

Got it when it was 11.99, and that's a good deal. Definitely improved the design, ours isn't cracking or breaking like some other reviews said. The foam where the chalk goes will eventually wear out and not hold chalk, but otherwise this is an amazing little tool/toy for adults and so kids can stand when chalking.

I used this to help me lay out a youth bike rodeo course. It worked very well and I could see it being fun to use to do chalk art too. I even attached a rope to it so I could make circles by weighting down the other end of the rope. It is sturdy, I was pushing down quite hard on it a few times and it stood up to that abuse.

This is a clever idea if they had made it better and actually tested it. Ours in pink broke on the first use. The cheap plastic broke on the joint. If it had been made from aluminum it would not break then the chalk falls out when you swap colors. There is not enough friction to hold it in so they plop out or move inside like disappearing chalk. I am going to have to duck tape the joints of it now and add the spiky bristle part velcro to the inside to try to keep the chalk in place. I think aluminum and spiky type velcro would have made it work because this will not work with out me modifying it. So if you buy it-modify it like I am BEFORE you use it so save yourself some frustration! Photos of my modifications that actually WORK GREAT are pictured. Now I can enjoy using it!

Where was this 5 years ago, when I was on my hands and knees, drawing chalk roads for my toddlers truck?! This is a simple but back saving chalk accessory, that is a must have for parents. Yes the picture on the package shows young kids drawing, but it should show happy parents who don’t have to bend hunched over on hard uncomfortable concrete or asphalt trying to draw with chalk with their little ones! My kids, who are 4 and 7, still like when I draw chalk roads for their trucks. This makes it so easy and fast! I can engineer a whole town, with crossroads, neighborhoods and businesses, in minutes! And I don’t have to bend over or lay on the ground! My kids know that this is “mommy’s chalk toy”, and not for them to use. I HIGHLY recommend to my fellow parents!
