Problem solved for incompatibility
These are great which will convert one size to other. I use different hardware from different vendors and you ended with incompatibility and these will solve your problem. Just screw in and you're done

Great 1/4-20 to 3/8-16 male to male converter kit.
Handy small threaded inserts where a 3/8-16 male is required but the source is only a 1/4-20 male. This 5 pcs kit converts 1/4-20 male to 3/8-16 male. Its package title says Mic Boom Stand. Ok maybe but more likely for a camera tripod. A convenient full standard screwdriver slot is provided as well.

Works with limitations
Note that this adapter is not threaded all the way through in the 1/4 inch center. This may limit use with some tripods and camera equipment., depending on the length of the 1/4 inch screw. It barely worked for me but I would recommend another adapter that has the fully threaded 1/4 inch center.

Quality with a slot in the bottom
I ordered these because a ball head I had also ordered had a 3/8 thread while my tripod and monopod were 1/4 inch. The ball head came with a 1/4x3/8 adaptor but it had a shoulder with a slot for a screwdriver on one end. When screwed into the ball head the shoulder stood above the the head by about a 32". So I used the Foto & Tech adaptor. It was loose in the thread so I did a temporary fix with some teflone plumbers thread tape. when I want a more permanent fix I can use some locktite thread locker. The finish of the Foto & Tech adapters is very good and they have a solid bottom with a screwdriver slot cut in to it. They are very shiny and non magnetic so I suspect they are stainless steel. They arrived quickly and were packaged in a sturdy plastic ziploc and each adaptor is also in a mini ziploc. Its a quality product from a quality vendor whom I have no connection with other than this purchase.

The lens foot I bought fits nicely on the OEM lens foot
This review is for "Foto&Tech 5 Pieces Metal 1/4" to 3/8" Convert Screw Adapter for Tripod Monopod Ballhead DSLR SLR ". I bought this to install on 3/8" screw slot on the Canon EF 600 f/4 IS USM. The lens foot on that is too small hence I wanted to add a long arca-swiss compliant lens plate. The lens foot has 2 screw holes the problem was one is 3/8" and other is 1/4". The lens foot I bought I could use only 1/4" screws hence I was on the look for an 1/4" to 3/8" adapter and came across this. It worked very well and mounts inside the 3/8" well and no part of it protrudes (see pictures). The lens foot I bought fits nicely on the OEM lens foot. Note: I bought the Desmond DLR-2502B to go along with this lens. Please read my review on that if are looking for more details

Exactly what I need, but of inferior material
Outside threads are full-length. So they are perfect for adapting a better tripod head to my existing legs. However, the first one I used broke with moderate tension. I frequently work with small electronics enclosures and have never stripped a screw. So I was very surprised when the corner easily tore out of one of these, as I'm habitually very careful. Upon inspection, I saw that these adapters are made of the cheapest possible metal. So be very careful when tightening these up. Anything much past finger-tight is probably too much. I my second attempt, I used blue thread locker and finger-tight. It seems to be holding. I'm giving them three stars because they appear to work as designed, are otherwise well made, were not advertised as steel, and I didn't have to make them. However, they are far from durable. Next time, if I have the time, I'll just make what I need out of a steel dowel in my garage. I think I'll get much better results.

Works as advertised. Tip: you can use a screwdriver (flathead).
Item as described. For anyone else confused how this works, it literally turns your 1/4" screw (typically found on monopod/tripod heads) into a 3/8" screw (typically found on the base of separately bought tripod heads). What I did was screw this into the tripod ballhead I bought for my monopod with a screw driver. Notice how one end has a flat opening? That's where you put something (e.g. a flathead screw driver) and then start turning like you are putting in a regular screw. After the screw is inside your tripod ballhead (or whatever else you're using this for), you screw that object ontop of your original 1/4" mount on the tripod/monopod/whatever. Yes, you can put the screw in by hand, but you will not get a tight fit like this. An alternative would be to screw this onto the tripod/monopod mount, then the tripod ballhead/etc. ontop of it. In either case, you will likely need a flathead to remove the screw from whatever 3/8" item you're using. My only complaint is 5 screws is a bit much, and you definitely can find these on other third party sites (ebay, aliexpress, etc.) or even third party sellers on Amazon for MUCH cheaper. They honestly are all the same, but the difference is this is Prime eligible and I can't afford to wait 1-2 months.

funcionales, calidad mejorable
