Bionicle: Makuta's Guide to the Universe

The book has some scuffs on the outside (as pictured), however the inside is most pristine, and that is what's important. The book arrived promptly and well-packaged.

I gave it a 5 🌟 rating only because my grandson loves the most over- priced book on the Amazon website. Do not let the photo fool you as its about a 1/4 inch thick, and that works out to be 4 bucks a page. Amazon again, not policing their vendors and slowly that trust factor we once had for Amazon ebbs away. Thats what happens when you make someone a billionaire. They forget the folks that made them such.Did you notice black Friday deals where everything was at retail prices?

I purchased this on May 11th 2010 and received it on May 21st 2010. Let me first say that this is an excellent book to get if you are a huge BIONICLE fan. This BIONICLE book is not a chapter book but rather a BIONICLE encyclopedia with tons of information. It has colorful pictures in great detail with scenes from all three movies as well as excerpts from the story. This book contains information that would enhance what the reader knows about BIONICLE. This book tells about the history of BIONICLE from the year 2001 to 2008. The book also contains a map of the BIONICLE Universe. It took me about a week to finish this book. The last thing that I have to say is that this book is incredible and that I recommend it to any BIONICLE fan.

The book really expands your overall experience with Lego's Bionicle world! It helped me connect with my 5 year old son while proving to be an excellent guide as well as a superb movie-companion...I trully urge you to get this book if you are either a serious Bionicle fan or just curious of learning more about this wondrous story arch created by the folks at LEGO Group!

My seven year old son loves this book. He is a huge bionicle fan and this is required reading as far as he's concerned. However, much like other Bionicle paperback books we've purchased, the glue in the binding gave out after a couple days of reading. It's easily fixed with tape, but my son thinks we should warn other potential buyers that their book might fall apart as well.

This is a pretty cool item for Bionicle fans. Some people may find it useless since most of the information can be found online, but I say it is useful in displaying the information in a linear timeline.

Grandson loves it.We saw the movies, played the games, and bought the action figures.This may not be the newest thing in town , BUTWhat moron would let young children watch Freddie Kruger or similar?

This year I am not able to see my 12 year old grandson on a weekly basis; so I wanted something special for his birthday and this was his request. His Mother tells me he reads it at home all the time ~ which is a good sign to me!

Really good quality, though the last few pages are kind of loose from the cover.
