My only issues are that the spike is large, so it create a visible hole in some fabrics and the spike comes loose from the brooch. I have had it fall apart on me a few times while wearing it because of this. ### ⭐⭐ Comes Unsharpened *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019* I ordered two of these. They are made in China. Both pins were unsharpened and needed to be filed before they would penetrate a fleece throw with moderate effort. They sharpen easily with a file because the metal is soft. On one of the two (two different styles), the pin eye was too large to prevent it from coming off. Now, they can be MADE to work, but they "don't shoot straight" right outta the box. Oh . . . I fixed the pin eye with a pair of small visegrips and redid the curved ends to ensure the pin would be retained. I ordered a couple of these, along with some thicker blanket pins. I discovered that the thicker ones wouldn't penetrate the thick weave Arcturus wool blankets I'd ordered, but these wood. Converts a blanket into a functional, elvish / viking cloak. I'm going to order some more.
