My 3 month old son had always been a pretty reliable sleeper, down at 7, up at 12:30am, then 3:30am to feed, and up for the morning around 6. It was a pretty easy routine for our family and I was grateful that he slept well, regardless of being swaddled. However, that all changed when he got his first fever and hit the four month sleep regression all at the same time! The first night of his fever I put him to bed in his pajamas and didn't think anything otherwise, until an hour later when he was already stirring in his crib and fussy. His fever was giving him so trouble regulating his temperature and I noticed he would be comfortable against my body heat but once I laid him down it only took an hour for him to be up again. This continued off and on every hour or so until 3am. I finally decided to co-sleep with my child that night in hopes that he would be able to sleep through that one hour window. It worked fine until about 5 am when he woke up screaming because my own body heat had made him too warm. I ended up stripping him down for 30 minutes to cool off and after that we were up for the day... talk about a long night. The next night I thought I would try the Lotus swaddler because I knew it helped regulate his temperature. Sure enough, that night I put my little boy to bed at his normal time and he didn't BUDGE until 130am. He still had his temperature, he was still fussy, but he was able to sleep comfortably. I used it again for his naps that day and even though he wasn't quite himself, he took better naps than he normally does. From that point on we've been using the Lotus more regularly and my sons sleep has been even more consistent. He sleeps soundly, comfortably, and safely....and to me that's priceless. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Lifesaver! *by M***H on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2017* We received one as a gift from family and it was a lifesaver. It kept keep my little one warm and once we started using it, he slept so much better. I tried some other swaddles first because my mom had bought them but I wish I had just started with this one. It is so much easier to use than other brands because you can open it from the top or from the bottom with the zippers. On a side note, the zippers aren't in uncomfortable places either. The HALO swaddle has a zipper that comes up under the little one's chin and it bothered my baby. The Lotus made changing diapers in the middle of the night so much easier because you don't have to remove the entire swaddle to get to the diaper. Once my baby started moving around more and wanted his arms, it was easy to just leave them out. It washed great and held up so well that I re-gifted as soon as my baby grew out of it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well executed, thoughtfully designed, and delivers on promise to keep baby warm (and sleeping) *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2016* This swaddle is really well executed and very thoughtfully designed. We got one for our second baby when she was just 9 days old, and from that very first night it seemed like it helped her sleep better by maintaining her temperature and keeping her cozy and held. I'd been having trouble putting her down to sleep, she'd wake after landing on her crib mattress, and that changed with the Little Lotus, so I think it was its ability to keep her warm that made a big difference. I also really appreciated the shoulder openings, which helped shimmy her during the times when she fell asleep breastfeeding and wasn't in the swaddle, we'd lay it out on the crib and place her on it and bundle her up without waking. The big zipper at the bottom helped us changed diapers while she was in the swaddle, keeping her warm and happy.
