Callaway XR 16 Drivers

I was able to get this driver from CallawayPreOwned for $103 plus tax. It was advertised as being in “good” condition.... the driver which arrived appeared to never have been hit or even swung! There was absolutely no wear on the grip, which appeared brand new, and the driver head itself was in pristine condition! The club also came with a new, albeit generic, Callaway head cover and a new in box Callaway club adjustment tool. The XR series may be a few driver generations old but I could not be happier with the performance for the money. In fact for any interested, popular Golf YouTuber, Rick Sheils, did a Callaway driver comparison video which compared the past 5 years of Callaway drivers and the XR stood out among the rest, with numbers comparable to even the newer 2019 Epic Flash SZ. I am extremely pleased with this order and would absolutely buy from Callaway Preowned again. If I had one small negative comment it would be that the driver arrived with a barcode sticker on the sole of the driver head. This sticker was somewhat difficult to completely remove and the adhesive remained until I scrubbed it off with googone. Maybe next time no sticker? Either way I was very pleased!!!

Didn't come with new grip but great customer service gave me a credit on my credit card. Instuctions to adjust club are awful, forget the video and text, just set the numbers you want like D, +1 and don't care if the D is on top or bottom so D +1 or +1 D are the same setting. Great club I hit it straighter and longer.

I was beyond excited to receive this club. I first saw it at a local golf shop here retailed at around $400. I decided to shop around and came across this steal of a deal! Upon unboxing I was impressed by the appearance. It has a bold red shaft that stands out when playing and already has earned a few compliments. It also has an adjustable setting system that makes it a multipurpose club for all levels of golfers (basically 8 clubs in one). My first drive with it led to a beautiful sound and one of my best drives playing. My average drive was around 240yds but this first hit had around 270yds on it before it even hit the ground. While this is not something that I can guarantee to every player, I can guarantee that the larger face and adjustable setting system will allow for more forgiveness when swinging and straighter hits.

The first one I bought, the head snapped off in the first couple of weeks. Amazon shipped me a replacement within days. The club is forgiving, but I am not noticing any more distance than my old X-Hot.

I have bought several drivers from Callaway in the past. The last one was the X2hot. There was not really a big difference in performances of the drivers. But the XR16 is a different story. It is a way better performer than the X2hot. I have a swing speed of 90 MPH and with the XR16 distance is effortless. Thanks to Boeing. I can recommend this driver to all slow swingers in particular. Try it out at your shop and find out for yourselves. This driver is great fun, really.

I haven't yet perfected the swing using the adjustable head settings but its a nice club. The head was a bit bigger than I thought it would be, based on the picture, but it is also lighter in weight than I expected. It feels great and swings effortlessly. So far I am enjoying it very much.

Finally replaced my very old driver with this modern club, and I'm very pleased. I'm a casual golfer, so I don't know all the finer things to expect from a club, but this gives me about 30 yards more than my old club and has a nice balance to it. Also has an adjustable face, but I haven't begun to tinker with that yet. Good looking club too.

I gave this to my husband for Xmas. Both he and my brother-in-law went out the next day to play 9 holes and my brother-in-law told me how amazing the club performed for my hubby. Even my husband was shocked at the distance he was able to hit the ball. Great club. Highly recommend.

This is a great driver. The design is just like the 3W, so it flies through your swing and it just feels right. The delivery service was fantastic. I needed the club for a tournament and Juan made an extra effort to make sure it arrived on time. Many thanks.

Hi... I have been using this product for almost 10 rounds and on my eight round I noticed a sound coming the head ie from inside some object is moving inside the head of the driver. In fact this sound is really Irritating while hitting this driver. Can you help me in this regard as I am loyal customer of you and used to buy many items from Amazon. In case you can not help me please direct me whom to be contacted to resolve this issue
