Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus (Junie B. Jones, No. 1)

I’m so happy Junie B. Jones is making a comeback—this book is a classic! The girls absolutely love it and can’t stop giggling at all of Junie’s wild little thoughts (and, of course, the “stupid smelly bus”). It’s such a fun way to get them actually excited about reading. The story is silly and relatable, and Junie’s personality jumps off the page. If you’re trying to get young readers hooked on books, this one’s a no-brainer. Total win in our house!

This was on my child's summer reading list. It was happily read it in 1 day by my child!!

Held my 5-year-old granddaughter's attention from beginning to end in one session.I read aloud to her and we both laughed and laughed.

To my thinking it shows a Doll, Book in a complete pkg. All that was sent was one open, paperback book. No Doll, no unopened pkg.I feel it was misrepresented. I have been a customer for a long time & I would like Amazon to get in touch with me & help to straighten this out. I tried to reach you by following your instructions, & could not get it to go through. I am fine ordering merchandise, but when something is wrong, you are unreachable. I would like to discuss this with a real live humanbeing, not a recorded message.I hkave two kindles & would like to continue to be your customer, but if this is not taken care of, I will be unsure if something goes wrong again it will be handled. I liked the books, but I recieved 4 books and I returned 2, as of yet I haven’t received my refund. Please let me know why. Linda Williams

My 4 year old loves these books. She reads them to me before she goes to sleep, and goes through them fast. In 3 nights she finishes 1 book, and with each book her reading gets better and better. And as far as the bad grammar....she sees it, recognizes it, points it out and laughs about it: "Silly Junie B, saying thinked instead of thought!" And the bad behavior? She recognized that too: "Wow, mommy, Junie B. is very bad, right? You'd be very angry with us if one of us would do that, right?" And she and I will laugh. She reads other books too (she loves Amelia Bedelia, and has just started reading H.Potter and the Sorcerer's stone), so she also has examples of better grammar, and I don't think it will affect her adversely.Same for all other kids reading these books....they are fun, and since they will read other books they'll know not to use her grammar for real!

What a delightful book. Love the Junie B stories.

Loved the book. Her vocabulary is so funny😆. This book is a great read for all all ages. Good for parents to read to youngsters and good for older kids to read by themselves if they are bored.
