Review: Sharp and Effective - Will carve a huge hole in whatever target you hunt. Has gone thru the shoulder of a wild hog and only ran 10 yards using a 400fps crossbow on a piledriver bolt. Only thing I dont like is the blades bend out even after a foam target practice shot so you always have to change them and for some its a cut risk having to unscrew the tip every time but if you know how to be careful these are worth it. Also these are heavy heads so you have to do alot of adjusting to sight them in
Review: Best broadheads I've used in 30+ years of hunting. - I used these all last season for whitetail in NJ. I shot 5 deer, four were complete pass through with massive blood loss (three of them crashed within 15-20 yards). The one exception was a quartering-away shot where the arrow hit the inside of the far shoulder on the way out. The deer still went down right away. I've only lost one deer in all the time I've been hunting and it was the one and only shot I've ever taken with a mechanical / expanding broadhead. I'll never use anything but a fixed blade again, the penetration can't be beat and these are the best by far that I have ever used. I'll say that the blades themselves don't seem sharp but they cut their way through anything and the chisel tip is phenomenal. It actually busted through the shoulder bone after getting through both rib cages. I'm here to buy another pack and some replacement blades and seeing a lot of knock-offs (most sincere form of flattery?). I can't speak to those but the genuine heads are pretty cheap in comparison and worth every penny.
