I decided to replace the wiring because bare wires were exposed that when touched, completed the circuit and activated the starter motor, separated by only a little plastic divider. If the wires touched, while riding, the bike would just short circuit and stop. Power was tested, current was flowing and a friend and I repaired and prevention of the possibility of future crossed wiring using heatshrink tubing resulting in physical separation of these wires and I completing decided to buy a new solenoid relay. but after installing this brand new part, there was no current passing to the ignition, or the starter motor. We put the old one back in, after having had to re-invent the part because it had stripped threads etc... I turned the key, and *Kapoww* everything fired up immediately and is now it is completely in order, and I tossed this piece of junk in the trash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect match *by S***0 on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019* Well... it does work but it didn't fix my issue.. there's something else going wrong. Bought my son a 2014 Honda CRF125FB. Electric start didn't work. Bought a battery, and during troubleshooting, found the starter worked great but something was keeping it from trying to start. Thought there was a safety on the clutch (maybe there is...) so I jumped those two wires and nothing... starting from square one tomorrow.. ### ⭐⭐ Did not fit my 2000 VFR. *by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2020* Did not fit correctly on my 2000 VFR.I should have compared my part to the advertised pic. It's a cheap part that most likely would have worked fine.
